Electric Bikes: The Ultimate Guide: 2020 Edition (Black & White)

A straight forward overview of e-bikes. I know nothing about them but likely will buy one some time in the near future, so this was a good resource to use for that future decision. Like the subtitle says, it tells you about the history, technology, buying and owning issues of e-bikes. The 2020 edition is the first edition of the book; the author writes that he expects to update the book every two years, so a new edition should be available soon (if not already).

I found the book pretty basic. Most of the info I had already found my via internet research. The book is probably useful as a starting point if you’re interested in an ebike, but it’s not comprehensive.

this book has some nice things to say about electric bikes and their history but its information is now years out of date and with the boom in the eBike market there are many brands and models not covered.
