The Zinus 2000H is Fantastic
The Zinus 2000H is fantastic. Very heavy duty, very sturdy, no wobble, no squeaking noises, fit and finish is great. The framing style and finish is very clean and attractive looking with clean simple lines. I like having the headboard with the bed frame as it looks nice and it is sturdy to hold the pillow up to lean back on when you want to sit more up right in the bed for reading or watching TV. Heavy thick strong metal and with a really nice black semi-matt finish that looks like it should last forever. The wood slats are 1/2 inch thick laminate plywood type so is strong and sturdy so I don’t think it will have any warping or sagging problems. The velco is heavy duty and holds the wood in place and spaced well. There are plastic feet under the legs so it should be good for hardwood or tiled floor. The frame sized fit my mattress size perfectly and the mattress stays in place on the wood slats without moving around. I like the height with the mattress is about the height of a chair seat height so when I sit on the edge of the bed my feet fall flat on the floor so you don’t have to jump up on it and can easily stand up from it. Also the height of the frame still has enough height under it so you can store some stuff under it especially like shoes, magazines, and small container. It goes together easily using all the same sized allen hex type screws plus it includes the allen hex wrench so you don’t need any of your own tools. It is packed well in a compact sized but is heavy about 60 lbs for the twin sized. I moved it to the upstairs bedroom by opening the box downstairs and then moving the plastic wrapped pieces at a time to the room and then put it together. Putting it together and setting up takes about 30 minutes. Just follow the directions so the bed ends up finished correctly with everything sized and fitted perfectly. My one complaint was if you order from Sleep Revolution the shipping is slow. I ordered Sunday and they prepared a shipping label on Monday but didn’t actually take it to FedEx until Friday to really begin the shipping so it arrived 2 days later then original range that Amazon provided. But it is free shipping on a very large and heavy item so as long as you are in no rush the free shipping is fine once you get it as this bed frame is really nice.I did look online to see what IKEA had to offer and I didn’t see anything impressive that looked as good and strong for around the same price. I really like IKEA stuff but as for beds this bed frame made of metal was better as it didn’t have any wooden dowels or nails or fancy hardware to assemble it with. The one large sized screw fit and tighten well and made for a nice solid connection with no give or flex. The black metal frame is modern and contemporary looking but not really cold looking.Comparing the descriptions of the Zinus 2000H which I brought and the 1500H which I don’t have it looked like the 1500H is taller by 4 inches so would have more room under it for more storage but the height will probably be taller than chair height depending on your mattress thickness. Also the metal framing bars is thinner sized so the overall weight is less by about 17 lbs for the twin sized frame.I really like it and think it looks great and works great so highly recommend it.

Good product, affordable furniture
This is a very affordable way to have a nice bed frame with headboard. We’ve owned this for nearly six years, and it’s held up well. It was relatively easy to put together. We chose the metal frame over wood due to cats clawing prior wooden bed frames, so this was a perfect solution.

Great frame
Great bed frame, easy to assemble, seems to be sturdy. It even has holes available if you’d like to attach your own headboard which we did.

Great product with three flaws
Pros: Handsome contemporary style.Sturdy with no flexing.Well documented assembly instructions.Con: Shipping carton ends were crushed.Head board attachment poorly designed. Slots should be at least 3 inches apart.Shipping took over three weeksIf the manufacturer can redesign the headboard attachment, they will have a great product.

The Bad (not that bad)
The Bad (not that bad): The hex key that came with it was cheap and deformed. I imagine it could have made it through assembling the thing but my quality one (metric 5) with a rounded head made life a lot easier so I would have used that anyway. Similarly, some of the bolts are really close to the frame so it would be annoying to use the supplied hex but that's kind of anything you buy these days. Lastly, it said you have 7 inches off the ground but it's more like 6.5. Only a problem to me because I have keyboard cases that are 6.75 inch tall so that little difference means I have to lift the bed and frame, but it's not heavy. Lastly, my box spring slides on it but I am not sure that is a fair complaint as it's not supposed to have one.The Good: Took me maybe 20 minutes to assemble and most of that time was unpacking. It is super straight forward. All the stickers with the marking are on the inside of the frame so you don't have to take them off, making future disassembly and res assembly easy. I am typically an instruction reader but after the first piece I didn't need it, the thing is so simple to put together. It is also very compact so this is a bed frame that would not be hard to move, probably would fit in my Accord Coupe without putting the back seats down.At first, I was weary about the slats, they are held down with Velcro. However, once I put them on, they do not seem like they are going to move. If they do, so many ways to make it work, and I probably don't even need them with my box spring, but I can't imagine them moving.Seems ultra sturdy, time will tell, but even a high end IKEA bed moves a bit. This is solid as can be. No adult activities yet, but I did bounce around, no squeaks. All the hardware was better quality than I thought, minus the hex key.The frame is very simple, so if you like modern, it's simple and understated. The materials lead me to believe this will outlive my bed, maybe myself, but I have no concerns about longevity. The metal (not sure what type as it is powder coated) seems very strong, and the coating is attractive. Box was compact, packaged well, so even though it looked like it had a rough shipping process, no scratches or anything.I will update this review if things change. I can tell that any issue, unless a weld fails, would be super easily solved with a simple DIY fix that anyone could do but I will update if I am wrong.
