They're not perfect quality noise cancellation headphones but I like the sound and how they fit in the ear - I don't like extreme bass or noise cancellation anyways.The biggest plus to these guy and the reason why I'll never buy earbuds with batteries is that these guys can take a lot. Not force damage mind you, but they can survive a forgetful person.I own 2-3 sets of these at any given time. Why? You just said they were durable? Well because they get left in some jeans or a hoodie pocket for a while and I have to use a backup pair until they resurface after going through the washer AND drier. And then I go back to using the old pair because they STILL WORK. All of my headphones have been washed/dried at least twice and as long as you let them dry out they work just as before with no noticeable drop in quality.These are skullcandy-priced headphones that can take way more neglect and abuse.

I have read so many bad reviews that claim this is counterfeit AKGs.I had 3 of these that came with my older Samsung phones.I had this for 3 weeks now.It seems identical and sounds just as good if not better.True, there are many counterfeit earbuds out there and I wish Amazon does something about it.I was skeptical from reading all the bad reviews but there were way more positive reviews too.That's why this one has 4.5 stars in spite of all the bad reviews.Out of 451 ratings, 78% are 5 stars.The worst-case scenario is that if I didn't like it, I can always return it.If this is a counterfeit, it's a damn good one and I love it and I'm keeping it.I broke 2 of these Genuine earbuds that came with phones.I plug in the phone jack and walk around with the phone in my back pocket and then I'll sit on my chair and the tip of the jack will break in half. Even so, Samsung sent me a new one under warranty.Good quality, Good sound, and Good product period.I highly recommend this product.

My take on these earphones are that they are more accurate than most in that they do not have the customary bass boost found in many similar products. Those who love bass might be disappointed, but the wearer will be rewarded with a balanced, accurate and clear reproduction. When I first tried them, I thought the sound was a little thin. I replaced the silicone ear piece with the larger size and pressed them more firmly into the ear and I found they then sounded fuller, (but not bassy). But be careful as the inner piece while feeling soft to the touch, doesn't have much "give" and may not be comfortable for long if pressed in too far. Everyone's ears are different but I found these to be less comfortable than my Aircoms, also sold on Amazon. Aircom's have much more bass but these UrbanX's have more definition and it's nice to have a choice. Once you wear them for a while you become accustomed to the different sound presentation.These earphones would be well suited to genre's like jazz or classical for their accurate reproduction and not having the bass boost also means not having excess bass to mask some of the other sounds. All in all, well worth what they're asking.

Works good

I bought these because I lost the ones that originally came with my S8. Idon't like ear buds because my ears in general become sore after use, but these are the most comfortable for me, hence why I re purchased. Sound is acceptable, mike works fine. 19 dollars is not an outrageous price. It's an okay price for the product. If i needed a replacement again I'd buy it. This review is based on one month of use. If it lasts like my other one did 3 years going strong before I misplaced it then I'd say good value for the money.

This product was just poorly made. Which is weird because I've purchased akg earbuds before 3 times and never had an issue with them! Only reason I got 3 was because 1 broke and i want 1 for work and 1 for everyday use.This pair i purchased did not cancel out noise in the right earphone properly i could still hear clearly outside noise. The port itself was frayed which meant evident damage already and i kid you not 2 weeks later the left earphone stopped working out of nowhere! No mistreatment of any kind, no abuse, no blasting the sound all the time, it was just a defective product distributed by a company that doesn't care about quality consistency of the products the distribute. Giving akg a bad name.My advice? Get the same kind of earphones fromA different distributor or something. 2 week lifecycle is UNACCEPTABLE

For the first two months, the sound quality was great. Then all of a sudden, the sound in the right ear bud stopped working. I tried it on 4 different devices and confirmed that the right ear bud was broken. I was happy with them up until that point.

These are very much like the ones I got with my Samsung phone. They are quality. They hold in my ears very well. I have been using them daily since I bought them as I'm working from home. They are comfortable and I have had no issues with sound quality. They continue to work well. I even bought a second set for my son. These are worth the price for sure!
