I am not disappointed! This is the perfect brush for my medium length and medium textured hair. Love the design. I would definitely recommend this hair brush.

Quality brush, perfect for my short-haired Border Collie, who has a thick undercoat. It brushes smoothly, doesn’t snarl, and is light in my hand, which is important because he is only 7 months old and is already a champion wiggler and head-knocker. The brush grabs enough to make a long swipe through his coat when he is moving quickly, which is most of the time. He will love this brush when he grows up. As for using this for a human, I plan to buy a few more. Lovely, just right brush.

I have fine hair, so I bought the corresponding brush from Bass based on a recommendation from a friend. I think the quality is good (it's not impressive but it's not junk either). It's lightweight, which I appreciate. The bristles are a decently stiff nylon that works well on my shorter hair, but is not quite sufficient for the longer parts. It honestly feels great running through my hair and scratching my scalp, a much more enjoyable feeling compared to a comb. I've been using this after a shower and again before adding styling paste (using my comb after) and I've noticed that my hair has started to maintain my style when dry, and the overall sheen has also improved. I'm assuming that's because it's helping move oils around, definitely has something to do with the extra brushing though. Overall, for the price, I think it's a good value. I definitely like mine, although I think I probably should have bought the version that has interspersed stiff bristles with ball ends.

Bass has always excelled in producing high quality hairbrushes. I am enjoying my new brush for the flat top that is easy to clean and the beautiful wood handle that fits so well in my hand. The boar bristles make my fine hair shine. My previous Bass brushes have lasted a long time, and I believe this one will be as durable.

Updated Nov. 2022: Added two pics & repurchased again this year. Bought the original brush in March 2017 and used it for over 5 years. Kept it dry and clean and it held up well. It was such a quality product that I had to buy another one! I passed down the old brush to our new cat who loves this it as much as I did. The bristles are still strong and yet so soft all these years later. Thank you so much to Bass Brushes for making this brush an essential in my life 😍------Original Review------This brush is amazing. Let me start by saying I used to hate brushing my hair. I'm mid 20's, natural blonde with super thin, fragile hair and it always took so long to brush my hair because I really had to be extremely careful or my hair would break too much. Now, I actually look forward to brushing my hair, it seriously feels so luxurious! I'm in love with this brush, I'm not sure how my hair has survived without it. I really can't believe this is the first soft bristle brush I've ever had. I'm a bit sad that I've been using hard plastic bristle brushes for so long. After using this brush, I'll never go back. I am really surprised at the difference it makes; my hair feels softer, sleeker, and the appearance has drastically changed since I switched. I don't have nearly as much damage/breakage as I used to have with my old brushes.This brush is wonderfully made, excellent quality, great craftsmanship. I love the style and feel, so comfortable to hold and to use, the bristles are gentle on my hair and scalp, very soft but firm enough to detangle my thin hair. It's so easy to use and clean, I love it! Would definitely purchase again and will highly recommend, will certainly be shopping with this company again!

I wanted to try this brush to see for myself all the benefits I have been reading about. Over the past few years I have been taking steps towards healthier hair. Since I stopped using heat products, blow drying, and reduced washing, my hair has grown much longer. My whole life I have been using cheap plastic brushes, so I thought this brush could be an investment that improves my hair quality and lasts longer. What I found was that this brush most definitely reduces snags, but in the process does not actually get the tangles out. It creates quite a bit of static so while I'm trying to smooth my hair it ends up sticking out in all different directions. It's a beautiful brush and definitely is gentle on the hair, but it's just not for me. I think my hair is too thick for this brush, so I'm going to continue looking for the ideal brush for my hair. That being said, I don't regret the purchase because it's not that expensive and I learned from the experience. Everyone is different, so even though it didn't work for me, it might at least be worth the try. It seems to work very well for a lot of people.

I love the Bass brushes and combs. They're nicely made, do the job well, and last a long time. The boar bristle brushes are very gentle on the hair.
