Can't beat paying 55 dollars for a quality product. As soon as I paid for them, the price jumped 20 dollars. Get them while they are hot!Price aside they are firmer then any pair I've owned. I needed support which these provide. I love the arch support,toe grip,heel cup, and rigitity which makes walking in these sandals great!*update* 12/3/2014I normally fit a size 12.5/13 shoe. I weight 240lbs and have worn down to almost the cork on the lateral heel.If I can find someone who resoles these I can see them lasting another year

Very well made sandals, a little long, but usable. I have problem feet so these are about the only kind of sandals I can wear. I do recommend them for anyone, but can't vouch for the size. Might or might not fit you on your first try. I had to send one pair back because they were much too large.

I ordered these as an anniversary present for my husband, after I heard him comment that his others were wearing out; he had really gotten his money's worth out of those. I had to remind him of the usual two-week breaking in, and that was o.k. They did seem just a tad longer than the others, but otherwise fit great. Amazon's price was also better than any site also, so that encouraged me to go ahead and get them before a possible price increase.

They are very comfortable. The straps, suede lining and the cork padding seem very well made and high quality. But the sole is not rubber, it is the same cheap foamed plastic used on 5 dollar flip-flops. This is the first time I bought Birks, so I don't know if they were always like this. I spent the money on Birkenstocks because I always heard they last a long time, and I am sick of buying new slides every year or two. But these won't be any better.If you mostly sit or stand around, these are good sandals. But if you actually plan to walk in them, the soles will be worn slick and smooth in a couple months.

Outside my front door are four worn out pairs of Birkenstock Arizonas. This pair will end up there some day. Love the brand and the model. The only drawback is that the buckles trigger the TSA scanners at the airport. So, even with PreChk they have to come off.

Been wearing Birkenstocks since I been a child

They look real good especially the ones with the black straps, first hour or so wearing them suck. However after a week or more of wearing them they do mold in. Just wish they could be easier to mold in but they look good.
