The original case I purchased for my 2015 Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 finally got worn and tattered so I searched and finally found the FINTIE brand on Amazon. Exact fit and protection was my biggest concern for my tablet and the Fintie Slim Shell Case looked to be the correct one for my model. I was very pleased after receiving the Fintie case because it is very well constructed and fits my Tab A tablet perfectly. The design is sleek and form fitting and it is very durable. The front cover closes nicely and is held down with some thin magnets along the edge. Overall this is a really great looking protective tablet case that should last many years. One thing I wanted to mention is that because the back of the case is a hard shell material that it can slide to some degree on slick hard surfaces. I would definitely recommend this Fintie case to anyone who owns a 2015 Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 because it is attractive, well made, fits like a glove and is very affordable.

This is the second cover I bought for my Samsung tablet. I wore out the first one and couldn't find the same off-brand cover I bought the last time, so I tried this one. Because of the cost, I expected it to feel a little flimsy and "cheap" but it doesn't. The plastic base snaps snugly in place and all of the ports are nicely exposed and ringed in rigid plastic. The back looks nice.The 3-panel cover has 2 hinge points and folding back the small, first part you can see the sleep feature turn on and off your tablet and it works well. There are small magnets along the opening to keep the cover secure. The one negative I have is that this is my second cover, and the first one hinged halfway across the back and one hinge point on the cover. This allowed the "triangle" to be tucked into the back which was very large and secure. This cover, the triangle is made only with the cover and is held by the metal plate in the cover and magnets by the spine, so the triangle is smaller and less stable. It works well for standing the tablet on its side on a flat, stable surface. But when you use the "low" mode, it tends to want to collapse and falls flat on the table. On the flipside, I have found the small triangle a comfortable hold point and will often fold the cover this way to hold it in my left hand while reading instead of just the normal open book mode. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This case has seen use nearly every day for the last few months and has been great. What I needed was a protector for my new tablet so I could bring it to work to use during lunch breaks. This case, like many similar ones, forms its own stand in landscape orientation which is perfect to set on the table while I'm eating. It is sturdy and was easy to get the tablet into, and it holds it securely. There is a magnet to hold the top shut so it doesn't open by itself, and the magnetization also helps with it when used as a stand. Also, as advertised, if the tablet is on shutting the case puts the tablet in sleep mode, and opening the case brings you back to the desktop; you don't even have to swipe on the hold screen to get back to business. I also like the blue color, which I wanted because the tablet is a blue that I like and didn't want to put it in just a generic looking black case.This case is precisely as advertised and exactly what I needed. I feel safe to haul my tablet around, and the stand is perfect for using it at lunchtime. For the price, and even for more, I can't imagine there is a better option.

This was purchased to protect my tablet after the original bonded leather cover wore out. Not as fancy as the original one, but quite adequate, has extra protection on the corners, and is a good value for the price. I was very pleased to be able to find one to fit an older tablet.

I've had this stand 2 years now, and it's held up VERY well. I've dropped it a few times, and one of those times, one of the back clasps that hold my tablet in place broke off a little bit, but it hasn't affected the function at all. It still holds my device firmly and has kept it safe even with subsequent drops. Despite tons of handling, the cover design still looks like it did when I purchased it, no wear or tear or diminishing of color. I use the folding stand function frequently, and I've noticed no wear at the creases, even though I often hold the folded part for better grip when I'm reclining and reading and want to hold the device closer to my eyes. This is a sturdy product, with beautiful design on the cover, it has protected my device despite more than a few knocks, and it functions completely as promised. I would buy it again, but I don't actually have to because this thing has legs (i.e. it goes the distance).

When it comes to Kindle, cellular, or tablet cases, I'm a fan of the minimalist approach. I want to keep the device as close as possible to its original size without adding a lot of bulk. I don't need room for pens, pads, my wallet, or a first aid kit; I mostly just want something to provide some protection for the screen. In that regard, this shell is more than I absolutely needed, without compromising the size and weight that are so important to me. I probably won't use the fold-able stand feature very often, but putting the tablet into sleep mode when you close the cover is a very nice touch. I also like the fact that the tablet locks positively and firmly into the back of the shell using very well designed corner clips that don't noticeably add a lot of bulk, nor do they interfere with the front of the tablet at all. This is an extremely well designed, well built case. My wife's first comment when she saw it was, "It's amazing that they can somehow build and sell something of this quality for that price."
