This may be THE BEST water bottle, and here's why...
Water is the word these days, and maybe you've noticed that wherever people are gathered, so too are their water bottles. Landfill waste is to be avoided, so what works best for re-use? For ages, I used the bottles with straws as part of the design, but ultimately tired of trying to get it completely clean, the straw detaching in mid-sip, etc. Then came the Contigo AUTOSEAL. Ahhhhh....PROS:1) EASY TO FILL: Unscrew the lid, the opening is wide enough to accommodate most sizes of ice cubes and easy to pour water or other liquid into.2) EASY TO DRINK FROM: Once the lid is on, tip the bottle, press the little button at the back, and you're sippin'.3) IT DOES NOT LEAK OR DRIP: I confidently throw this into my purse, knowing that even if the cap is flipped up, the seal is tight. Caveat: Once I did this without making sure the lid was securely screwed on. The bottle is great, but it isn't idiot-proof.4) SIZE MATTERS: The 24-ounce model is a nice size (although, for me, it served as the gateway drug to the 32-ounce), and fits into most cup holders.5) DISHWASHER SAFE. I even put mine on the bottom rack, and it does great.6) STURDY: But not indestructible. I'm a klutz & have dropped mine a number of times. Usually on hard tile. Most of the time they've survived without a scratch. Once a hard-tile impact broke the top and it was irreparable. Another time part of the handle on the top broke off, which didn't affect the usability of the bottle. For what I put them through, it's a miracle how well they survive.CONS:1) You'll want to collect the whole set.

The BEST watter bottle!
Only waterbottle I buy anymore. I have it on me 24/7. It NEVER leaks and boy oh boy can it take a beating. Very durable! I've owned several (replace then every 6-8 months) only because they start to look scratched not because they're preforming any different than when they're new. Love the spout cover and button lock; they keep my spout clean and stop my 18MO from dumping it everywhere. Really are the best water bottles and I've probably tried nearly 40 different kinds over the years! I'm a Contigo girl for sure now. I tried a new one the last time I replaced mine and threw it out after a week and ordered another one of these!

Strawless!!!! Which I love
Exactly what I ordered! I don’t like straws…. And this is an awesome strawless option.

Doesn’t leak
I absolutely love the Autoseal bottle. It is great for the car, walking, etc. You can take a sip, toss it on your seat, accidentally knock it over, etc.without worrying about spills. It takes a minute to get used to pushing the button to drink but once you get used to that, the benefit of spillproof is worth it!

Love it, rarely the autoseal doesn't seal
Sometimes the autoseal doesn't fully close and it drips. Maybe I did something wrong but I can't figure out what. When it works I love it... very convenient water bottle

Good, but seems to wear out closure mechanism
Love this top. I switched it off the bottle it came with and put it on my 32oz contigo bottle-perfect! this is much easier to drink more water for me over the straw-suck type tops. Gave the other bottle to the kids. My biggest suggestion to others is that when you drink, keep your hand pressing the button until you put the bottle down so the water at the very top goes back into the bottle. Otherwise, you get this tiny water pool at the top and I have often dribbled on myself. That will make sense when you try it, but might not make sense right now. I did have a hard time searching/finding this top (even knowing what I was looking for), but someone at work had it and I really liked the style.Update: is NOT spill proof after the top mechanism begins to wear out....when I release the valve after drinking, it doesnt completely close off the water supply. Tipping upside down = dripping, even with locking and flip top clicked in. I've only had this a few months. Oh well. Still works well as long as it doesn't flip around in my bag.

I really like it, except for the occasional spray in my face
It's a great bottle -- the auto-seal top works really well and seems to be leak-proof. I've dropped the bottle hard a few times and the most the bottle shows are some dings around the top. I really like the feel and flow rate of the spout. The clip works well for quick attachment to belt-loops, carabiners, or anything really. It's a great bottle! Except for the spray...There's a 50/50 chance that when I break the auto-seal I will get a spray of water in my face. I don't know how to stop it! I've tried drying the top, I've tried open the auto-seal slower. My only recourse right now it to either break the seal away from my face or already in my mouth. It's probably faulty and I'm just rating a dud, but it's annoying...
