Brings us peace of mind!
We decided to get this because we were traveling last month and had a blowout...but we didn't even know it! Had it not been for a passerby on the interstate that flagged us down, we may never have known until severe damage was done to our rig. (Fortunately, everything was fine.) We've been RVing (with a travel trailer) at least twice a month for almost 4 years now and had never had a blowout before this incident. That was a wakeup call for us and I started doing research on TPMS units as soon as I climbed back into the truck after we changed said blown tire. The reviews, features, and price of this one impressed us most, and so far we've been very happy. We've only had it for less than two weeks now but we just returned from using it in a 400-mile round-trip...through Florida storms. It worked flawlessly, despite interstate speeds, high heat and humidity, and crazy downpours. It cycles frequently, so it's very comforting to be able to view the pressure and temperature changes in real time. We tow a 29-foot TT with a crew-cab Ram Laramie and there was never a hiccup in reception. Even after we initially set it up (which was EXTREMELY easy to do) we were able to bring the unit into our house and view the tire pressures and temperatures from inside our concrete-block house from at least 50 feet away from the rig. We're definitely recommending it to our friends.Speaking of friends, one of our RVing friends purchased an entirely different brand of TPMS unit about 2 years ago and paid at least twice as much. After seeing ours and researching it himself, he feels like he was taken and believes we got the better-quality item, despite the price difference.

If you tow a trailer, you need this system!
Dislikes: Anti-theft would barely be a deterrent. Spin on covers can be spun off by hand and the transmitter then removed. No tooling needed. If there was a small screw / pin that could only be removed / installed while the transmitter was off the stem, that would be ideal for security, but would add to weight and likely size, and make it harder to install without bleeding off pressure. I am not concerned about the theft of them, but thought this should be known.Likes: Easy set up; linking transmitters to reader, setting pressure and temperature limits.I loved the knowledge that I was able to "see" what was happening behind me the entire 4700 miles on a trip I was just on. While at a rest area, I showed my system to a fellow RV'r who was changing a flat that was completely shredded. Luckily for him there was no trailer damage, but I was surprised there was not at the condition of the remains. I do not know if his rim was useable, but it might not have been. On my return trip home, I had 2 flats on my trailer, in two consecutive days. The first flat my EezTire display started beeping and indicated a rapid pressure loss. I pulled over and there was still air in the tire, coming out. Extremely short time that the 2nd tire on that side had to shoulder the whole load of half of the trailer weight. Was able to install the spare, move the transmitter to the spare and monitor it and the other 3 to a place where the tire was replaced. The next day I was in 98° temps, and my high temp alarm alerted me when a different tire exceeded 108°. Shortly after that the pressure alarm alerted me that pressure was dropping. Pulled over and indeed it was going flat, installed the spare, placed transmitter and proceeded to a tire shop to have new tires installed all around. Temps were still showing 108° on the two originals, so I stopped and let a few PSI out to help them stay together for the 40 miles needed, and reduced speed while monitoring. Reached a tire shop and put 4 new tires on the trailer and moved the newest one to the spare.I realize I should have better inspected the tires prior to my trip, but my EezTire system bailed me out. It allowed me to not have to replace my original wheels, repair damage to the underside of the trailer, or possibly leave me stranded on the side of the road when I could have had two flats on the one side if I had continued to tow with essentially one tire.Loss of signal happened on occasion (Yukon XL with 31' Ultralight TT, no booster, reader was sometimes sitting on my center console, sometimes window mounted). When signal is lost, the reader emits a short beep each time that tire info should be displayed. I power cycled the reader each time and allowed it to find the 4 transmitters again, with no beeps while searching. I found higher on my window (better line of sight) helped reduce signal loss.I will not tow my trailer again without a working EezTire TPMS. Money very well invested in my opinion.

Needed the repeater to get it to work on a 40ft fifth wheel
Bought for a 40' 5th wheel. Note that the color of the delivered unit (March 2018) was gold, and not grey/black as shown in the picture, on the box, and on the EEZTire website. I did contact them and was told that is the "new" color. It would have been nice to know - although they said they have no other color options. I'm trying not to hate the color. On the first trip of 1000 miles had maybe a 50% success of connection. It would start to beep after several minutes of losing connection to one trailer wheel or another. We ordered the repeater and installed in the front cargo bay of the fifth wheel for return trip and had no issues with connection after that. The repeater did not work when installed on the running light line which was feeding several lights and a backup camera and was measuring 11.8V even when truck was running. It worked fine when installed on a line tied directly to the camper battery which was about 13.2v when truck running. Nothing needed to be done to get it to pair, even though the directions seemed to suggest I needed to follow a pairing procedure. It is surprising how much the pressure and temperature increase while driving. I did test it by removing the sender from a wheel and it alarmed immediately for low pressure. I do like the unit now that we have it and it is working with the repeater. I do not like the color, or that we had to spend another $65 to get this to function properly when the cost of the unit already seems on the high side.

Tire sensors not for boat trailor.
I have 2 unuts. One for tow vehicle and one for boat trailor. Tow vehicle sensors work great. Boat trailor sensors are not working as designed. I have replaced batteries, replaced entire sensors and only 2 have worked out of 6 sensors. EEZTIRE customer service is horrible and it looks like I will be replacing with another brand.
