I bought this to replace another rangefinder of the same brand (I dropped it in a pond!). I found my previous one reliable and accurate and this seems to be the same but also seems a bit more weatherproof.

The golf rangefinder arrived today an I took a trip up to my local golf course to try it out. Firstly it's slightly smaller than I expected but that does mean I could probably carry it in my pocket rather than the supplied case. Tried it out from a position where I could see 3 flags at different distances, measured at close to 80yds, just over 350yds and just over 500yds, in all cases it locked onto the flags in under 5 seconds even though I don't have the steadiest of hands, I think 6x magnification is perhaps a little strong, 5x would probably give a steadier image for the usual golfing distances, I would have preferred it not to have the slope adjustment figures in the viewfinder as it does make it a bit cluttered and it's not really that necessary for average golfers.Only downside in use is that there is too little eye relief on the eyepiece, I found I had to place my index finger on the top edge of the eyepiece and rest it against my eyebrow to gives the clearest view, in this respect it could perhaps favour spectacle wearers.For the money I'd class it as good value if you can accept the caviats.

Excellent quality and easy to use

Thus was a purchase that I’m very pleased with ! They are a great product and very accurate affordable and durable being water resistant they can be used in most weather conditions and they are a must if your a target shooter or hunter they are especially good with a crossbow up a tree or in a hide very very happy and highly recommend even if you are a golfer !

Great when it was working however coming up for two years and it stopped working (tried changing battery still didn’t work). Not sure of life span of these range finders but thought it would be more than two years…:( disappointing.

This range finder was delivered on time and everything was as per description on the site. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, so far so good.

It worked well for 3-4 months but then aaah man the readings are way off! This thing has cost me so many damn shots. I’ve stopped using it. Imagine stripping a drive 320yards down a par 5 now this thing says I have 220yards I check again it says 150yards. Now I must do quick math to figure out the distance! How can you trust this thing? Well don’t! I ended up flying the green with my 5iron! 5iron? Come on!? So think again before buying it because that thing can cost you a few shots. Also they don’t reply to me no I have a digital telescope that reads distances wrong
