Batteries for B&D Versa pal Tools
Works very well with Black & Decker tools. Very happy with purchase. For years I could not find batteries that worked for my tools.

Works, but the battery does not "snap-in" and stay secured.
The battery works brought back life to my Black and Decker Versapak electric screwdriver. However, the diameter of the back end is too small, keeping the battery from "snapping-in." As a result, it doesn't take much use or shaking for the battery to pop-out and disconnect. I solved the problem by taping-in the battery with electrical tape. I should probably take off a second star, but I'm happy to be able to use the screwdriver again.

BATTERIES WOULD NOT FIT B&D TOOL - CHROME PLATE CAME OFF AND DESTROYED MY TOOL
I had these as back up batteries when original VERSAPAC batts starting to fail. I had to force these batteries into the tool I was using. BIG MISTAKE! Crome end piece got stuck in the tool and could not be removed. Tool and replacement battery was useless and had to be junked. If you look at the original VERSAPAC batteries by B&D, you will see that the whole battery body is one piece. Looks like all these replacement batteries are all built with the chrome insert piece as an independent piece attached to the battery.
