Lightweight, durable and well worth the money
These are excellent glasses. The floating lens and flexible frame make them exceptionally comfortable and lightweight. I can wear these all day and most safety glasses, they're still comfortable. I have had one pair for over two years and the rubber nose guard came off, so I glued it back on, and all is good, but after frequent wear for that long, when they cost 7 or 8 bucks originally, you can't really argue with that. The hard coating on the lens is excellent. After months of wiping them off multiple time a day, the lens is still clear and not scratched -- I wish my much more expensive sunglasses were as scratch resistant. Lastly, I have a second pair I keep in the car for driving in fog, low contrast conditions or for long stretches on two-lane roads -- work great for that, too, to reduce eye strain. Totally worth the money.

Great product for low light conditions
I work in the aviation industry and that means working around a high level of exposure to things that could hurt your eyes. These are the greatest style safety glasses in my opinion and UVEX is the only company that does this style. It benefits people who work in an environment where sweat is running down their forehead/face while they work. Everyone knows its a pain in the butt when your safety glasses fog up and you cant see, so what do you do? take them off and expose yourself to possible injury. So what I'm getting at is these are designed where your lenses are not touching your forehead, thus the sweat running down is does not get on the lense and fog it up. Plus an added bonus is that UVEX has a anti-fog coating on the lenses. Another noteable advantage of these over other brands is that they can be worn with headsets, such as the David Clark ones seen all over aviation and they dont affect the seal that goes around your ears. Very function and the scratch resistant coating works pretty good as well. I highly recommend these for people in the aviation industry, mechanics, pilots etc...

Not for shooting
Long ago, I went from Peltor to Uvex to get what I thought was a tougher (safer) shooting glass. The Uvex I chose were generally too heavy and fogged up too easily (in high humidity). So I tried these based on a strong review. Indeed, they do not fog up as easily (but still more easily than Peltor shooting glasses). More importantly, they have only one point of support (they are floating lenses, more or less). Trying to wipe off sweat beside my eye, I caught my glove on the end of the lens and the glasses just broke in two equal pieces. I wear shooting glasses for all activities, and these are the first I have broken. I do not care what sort of certifications they have passed, it is back to Peltor for me.

Build quality is mediocre, the lenses are not fixed to the frame at the edges.
