Good, but….don’t buy from this seller in the future
So like others I thought it was DME. The description does say LME, so it’s on me for missing that. But, I made it work. My batch is still fermenting, but so far so good. I used this, honey, and cider, and it tastes like honey on sourdough with notes of apple. Only four stars because like others, mine was expired….by almost a year!!Even though it worked fine I wouldn’t buy this from this seller in the future.

This base malt gives so much amazing flavor. Its rich and beautiful on the tongue
I bought 2 of these at my local brewing supply store. I made a 5 gallon batch using 2 hops in the main wart and dry hopped another. I also added rice and corn sugar. This base malt gives so much amazing flavor. Its rich and beautiful on the tongue. This is an amazing start to a hefewizen wheat beer, which you can add a pilsen light too for a light coloring and crispness.Briess is the way to go if your just getting started or wanting to skip mashing your own stuff.5 stars due to how awesome, quick and flavorful their malts are. Thanks Briess.
