Fit perfect
Perfect fit for my 1990 GMC sierra

Fits '89 Silverado nicely.
For 1989 Silverado with 350 engine, this was a great fit. When I put it up against the original part, I had to make one adjustment to the bends - probably they had to bend it a little to make it fit in the box. Parts of this type are always a pain to install. If you are rebuilding the engine, replace this part BEFORE putting the intake on, or at least before putting the smog crossover pipe in place because it hinders getting this in the gap between the firewall and tranny. Was a great fit for this truck.

Still cheaper than any auto parts store.

Original replacement
Exact fit for my my ‘91 Chevy pickup! Routing it like the original was a pain tho. But nothing unexpected! Works just like the original. Would be much easier to replace if engine or transmission was out for maintenance or replacement.

Works fine, VERY difficult to install.
This part appears to be a direct replacement for the OEM part it replaced. That is NOT a good thing in this case. The long pieces of hard line are almost impossible to get installed without tearing the whole top end of the motor apart. Even the one flexible segment is not enough to make this reasonably easy to install. It would be a LOT better if this part has a connection that could be separated, so you could install the two halve separately then join them. Once installed it works fine, but I still worry that all the scraping and tweaking I had to do to get it in may have shortened it's life span. Next time I would definitely just buy line and build one up on my own.

Installed this line along with a new slave cylinder, clutch kit and flywheel. When bleeding the system the line started leaking where the hose is crimped to the metal line. Typical Dorman part. Bought a new one from local parts store.
