Our son's opthalmologist advised us to start patching his left eye when he was 18 months old due to exotropia. We've been using these patches for 1-2 hours each day for the last 3.5 months.Our son's opthalmologist told us it may be easier to put the patch on right before he goes down for a nap so that when we wakes up he already has the patch on. This is what we did for the first 6 weeks or so, and all was well, but eventually he started messing with the patch a lot when we put him to bed. He only was able to peel the patch off one time but after that, we stopped putting it on before nap time. It was a good idea and worked for awhile though.These patches stick very very well overall. I've been really impressed at how well they stick. I completely figured my son would be ripping them off daily but that isn't the case at all. In fact, the ONLY times he's been able to pull the patch off is if we left a tiny corner not adhered to his skin because then he has a little tab to pull. If you carefully apply these and ensure you press all edges down by running your thumb firmly along every edge of the patch around the entire thing, the child should not be able to get these off. When it's time to take them off, he never cries or says ow. In fact, he usually has a giant grin on his face as we are peeling it off. The patterns are cute, they come in various sizes for any kid, and they adhere well but come off easily! I'm very glad we went with this brand and will be staying with it as he has awhile yet left of needing eye patches!

My toddler has to wear a patch on his left eye everyday. These patches stayed put and had cute designs. I's say the one minor drawback is the adhesive is pretty strong so you do have to be careful on removal since it's on sensitive skin.

Our daughter loves wearing these patches! As I parent I love that they are easy to remove and there is no sticky feeling left around her eye!

These have worked well for my 3 year old. They are very sticky when coming off. She has sensitive skin so we put a little lotion on the area afterwards. She loves the cute designs!

My daughter loves the characters. It seems to not fit her eye as well as the last patches we had. I sized up one from what we had before but these seem to be more awkward. She is two and a half and I thought these would be the right size. I still think the next size up would be too big.

I know I read several of reviews that said these are less sticky than the original. I agree, but feel it’s a positive. The original ortopad was tops sticky and left red marks on my sons face. We figured out that if we stuck it to our arms first and pulled it off, that left enough adhesion to stick well and not hurt his face.Well, I did that with these and it did fall off after about an hour. So I tried it with skipping out arm step and it sticks well aAND doesn’t hurt/leave marks when taking off! It’s a win for us!

Two year old likes the designs on these patches and leaves them on. I stick it on my arm once before placing it over her eye for easier removal. Size M fits perfectly. We’ve been using ortopad for about a month.

The adhesive is almost too strong (and these are smaller than comparable size of others) and so they have stuck to my daughter’s eyebrows or caused some discomfort when removing after 3 hours. The designs are cute and the price was nice, but I most likely will not repurchase. Comfort outweighs cost.
