Doesn't upset my stomach, flavor is my favorite for a protein powder so far
I've used whey protein for years without issues, but lately I've had issues feeling somewhat upset to my stomach after drinking it. It's a little tricky to be certain about the cause and effect and I've never had any issues with dairy previously, but since I read about others having similar issues with whey protein, I decided to give a different protein powder a try just to see if it might improve things. I wanted to try a bug-based protein powder for ecological reasons, and this one seemed reasonably priced. The flavor of this was a little strange at first, it's kind of earthy and nutty, but I've found that over time it's become by far my favorite -- it satisfies in a way that's not sweet, and inoffensive in a way that totally unflavored whey protein is not. It also does seem as if any stomach upset following drinking my protein shakes has gone away.Proof that this works? Hardly. But, for me, it seems to be a better way to go, and I have happily subscribed to monthly shipments of this brand. And I feel good about supporting the (hopefully growing) economy of bug-based protein.

Like other protein powders, but better
I'm sold on the health benefits of eating crickets. The nutritional profile is amazing, but of course I don't want to eat the whole bugs. This is like any other protein powder-- a bit grainy, but can get mixed into other foods/smoothies well enough if you pick good ingredients to hide it. It's got an 'earthy' flavor, kinda like sunflower seed butter. It's not sweetened, and not quite as smooth as pea protein powder. But, I feel great eating it and have a couple go-to smoothie recipes that taste great with it. If you eat any kind of unsweetened protein powder and are ok with it, this would be a really high nutrition one to add into your mixes.

wow! tastes bad.
I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch or what, but it tastes BAD. Like, moldy dust bad. I really wanted to like it, because I thought that the idea of using crickets as a protein source is a really good one, but I just can't recommend this brand :(

Good flavor protein vitamin b12
I love the flavor. I use it in smoothies, oatmeal, and baking muffins to add some vitamin b12 and protein. This powder is made of crickets, aka acheta domesticus.

Better odor than other similar cricket powders
Some brands smell like a pet shop, this one has a much more neutral odor, which goes a long way to me. All powders cricket protein powders are grainy, so it doesn't make sense to discount for that, just make sure you use plenty of liquid to help with the texture. I use some sweetener to help with the neutral taste, but all protein powders that are unflavored has this issue. I put it in oatmeal, and its great having a nutritious, sustainable, dairy free protein powder!

Expensive and overly strong flavor
In smoothies, I had to use a very small amount (1 tsp) so that it didn't ruin the flavor.

Very Short in Weight
The day I received the product I weighed out a 6 tbs portion, which should be 1/3 cup, 30g, according to the nutrition facts. However, 1/3 cup was only about 22g. I reweighed and reweighed, but same result. Then I put all product back in the bag and weighed the whole thing WITH the bag, and it weighed 443g. The product by itself should be 453g. I haven't weighed the packaging by itself, but based on the smaller measurement it looks like I'm being shorted nearly 1/3 of weight it's advertised and sold as. So lame, and definitely not a cheap variance.

Too expensive and no returns available
Actually had way less protein than I expected. Not impressed that they would not allow me to return even an unopened package.
