Daily dose of mental health help
I read a few pages from this book everyday and when I need a mental boost on days where I am struggling with something. It’s short, easy and incredibly well done. The quotes are from a wide variety of people that truly inspire and lift me up. Highly recommend this wonderful book. It’s a hidden treasure for all!

Format Not Ideal for Reading as Daily Affirmations
While I appreciate the quality of these quotes, the format is not ideal for my intended purpose. My intention was to use this as daily inspirational affirmations. However, with 5-6 quotes printed per page, it becomes too distracting and requires that I note the exact quote I left off at.

A very good collection that people should read at least yearly
It is very good to be reminded frequently about what makes sense.This book does that. The 365 quotes reflect the author's basic seven thoughts/ rules of behavior, which I think can be summarized as: Focus on what you can control today in a positive manner and learn to be satisfied.Some examples of the 365 are:I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it.I can only control myself, my actions, my work, ethic, and my attitude.The highest possible stage in moral culture is that we ought to control our thoughts.The secret to success is learning to use pain and pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you.I Israel Drazin think that having a pessimistic worrying attitude affects the body and lead to an early death.

YOU CAN’T RUSH THROUGH READING THIS BOOK IN ONE/TWO SITTINGS
According to SpiritHome.com, an affirmation is a positive act that helps to give confidence and a sense of being supported. It gives voice to goals and hopes, and it strengthens resolve. This Christian definition coincides with what the author has written in the description for his book, just read his description.While this book is not a daily Christian devotional book with affirmations for an entire year, it definitely should be read like one in order to achieve the full desired effect which this book has been designed to do.The quotes in this book have been separated into 7 categories, each one designed to focus on a specific aspect of our lives. They come from a very board range of individuals who belong a myriad of centuries, come from different specialties as well as coming from different walks of life.For giving his readers, including me, a book that will take an entire year to read to achieve the full benefits it has to offer, I’ve given the author, I. C. Robledo, the 5 STAR rating he deserves.

More of a list
I found this book really calming. When you get into the book past the preface it’s more of just a list of quotes but nice ones for the most part I wouldn’t live my life by all the quotes but they are good to read and some are good advice.

Something You Can Think About
I like quotes and usually when I find some quotes that I like I wrote it down.This book is a collection of very fine quotes and what I appreciate, the author divided those quotes according to their topics. And the topics are the separate story and the reason why I took this book.Not so long ago I decided to change my perspective on my life and I'm really working on it. I decided not to focus on negative things but on positive ones. Not to worry about things I can't control. Not to focus on what I don't have, or didn't do, but on what I have and what I did. And the chapters in this book are exactly about those decisions. That's the reason why I said: the topics are a separate story because this book is exactly what I needed to continue my work on my new attitude.

This book is interesting & uplifting. The author gives many examples of mostly famous quotes to help you focus on his 7 thoughts: Focus on what you can control, not on what you can't control. Focus on the positive, not on the negative. Focus on what you can do, not on what you cannot do. Focus on what you have, not on what you do not have.. Focus on the present, not on the past & future. Focus on what you need, not on what you want. Focus on what you can give, not on what you can take. These wise thoughts are shown in each quote. This is a book you can come back to in many situations. It is an easy read. The author has overcome serious difficulties and come out ahead with this written word.
