IWONDER V3.0 Skateboard Lights - USB Rechargeable, Super Bright LED, Outdoor Waterproof Flashing Safety Rear Lights

I want to start by commending the staff for their response to one of my lights losing the white light setting. Despite being out of warranty, they recognized an honest flaw and decided to refund a new one for me. Out of two, the other one I own is holding up strong and believe this product is reliable to keep around. Now on to the review:I have owned my lights (two of them) for a little less than a year now. The only issue is that one of them does not turn to the white color anymore and I can only use it as a rear light now. I believe I must have shorted it out somehow because honestly I have ridden in them both in aggressive rain several times. However, they are advertised to be waterproof which is my only problem. Other than that I stand behind this product and have had much fun in the dark with them.Compared to Shredlights and leading brands, I think this option really helps to protect the wallet and keeps you legal on the street. I would suggest bringing a flashlight to help illuminate the ground if you are going faster than 15mph in the dark, but these have been fine going at slower speeds to detect rocks, sticks, cracks, etc.Oh and don’t be afraid about their water resistance failing you. You want to try to avoid the rain, but I honestly can say these things hold up when they get wet. Just make sure to let them dry and keep the rubber tab tucked in the charging port.

This lights internal durability is not so great. I only went on one run with it attached. It was working great. Until I got to where the side walk met with a roadway. Right where the side walk and the road connected there are these strips of small bumps. I didn’t notice anything wrong until I had gone over four of these strips. Going from sidewalk to road and back on to sidewalk. After I crossed the second road that’s when I noticed it was flashing. Once I fully stopped it just stayed off.I’m guessing the weak point is in how the LEDs and battery are connected. If I give it a good smack. The light will briefly turn on.I might take it apart and see if I can solder it. But I wouldn’t recommend getting this product. Because of how easily it breaks.The mounting system is great.But the light itself needs some work and needs to be able to handle the shock of bumpy roads a lot better.

The media could not be loaded. Next update, my 2nd light broke off at the mount point while riding. Broke off somewhere on the street. Even though I like the light. When it works or does not break off the blue red strobe is awesome cars see me. Plus it’s plain “sick “. Not worth $30 to have to keep replacing it because it can’t stand up to normal skateboard riding. Buy at your own risk. FYI I sent 2 contact requests to customer service no response. Take that for what it’s worth.Update been riding a lot more at night. Light lasted for a maybe a month. The Blue and White lights stopped working about a week ago and now after my last ride the entire light will not turn on. I like the light. People see the red/blue strobe flashing light and they slow down around me. I bought a new one because it does what I want it to do. Makes me visible day or night. Here's hoping iWonder will send me a replacement as a spare.Saw the light. WTH. $20 bucks. I have a Meepo shuffle V4. I wanted to mount up top. The supplied screws did not fit thru the holes. Did not want to force it. Mounted underneath. See video in what I call "cop" mode. Picture of the rear. With all 3 lights flashing you will be seen. The top lights were a different purchase.

So first off the product description says and shows these lights being either solid white, red, or blue. They do not! In fact they will only turn white or red and blue together. Very disappointing considering my intention was to use one on the front and one on the rear...white and red respectively. Secondly the instruction for operation arent even correct. Other than that seems like they are decent enough to be front lights *****update after using for approximately 2 months 1 of the 2 no longer work properly as the white light flickers on and off as you go over bumps like there is a short....even on solid mode. Not very well made for the price at all! Pretty disappointing all the way around.

The media could not be loaded. Took about five minutes to install in front, screws are a bit long for my Meepo Shuffle but it works. Based on other reviews, definitely will be monitoring the durability before investing in a set for the rear. These babies aren’t cheap. That said, anything that helps improve my visibility to others is a huge plus. While I worry about cars had a bicyclist early mow me over last week, was able to recover but ended up hopping off and hitting the brakes to stop the board. All he said was sorry brother, didn’t see you- go figure…

The fact that you can attach on top or bottom is a huge plus. I love how you can pop them off to use as a flashlight or to charge. The only thing I wish was that the clip was flush to the board and it all slid off the part that mounts to the board with the bolts. Best choice for front and back lights for a skateboard. It's also great that either one can be white or blue/red so they both could be front or back or flashlights.

I attached this to my meepo electric board and when I was riding 15mph it fell off of the clip it was attached to. Now it rattles. And also the white light doesn’t work anymore now. I mean if your going to be delicate with It it works, but I wouldn’t get it again. Was it bright? Yes. Does the battery last long? About 1 1/2 hours till you get to a dull brightness. And the plastic clip seems cheep, like it would snap it I were to take off the light to recharge it.

Pretty much the only light that has handled all shock and vibrations for long periods of time straight out of the factory. All other lights I use have had wires come lose from a bad soldering job out of the factory and I have had to solder them back on myself. This IWonder V3.0 skateboard light has never giving me any problems despite all the shock and vibrations I put it through. Might I mention I use it on a very fast Eboard.
