A Good Quality Liquid Smoke For All Makes & Models.
Good quality liquid smoke for all trains. I have several high quality model trains and use this in virtually all of them. Lionel and other manufacturers warn about using other brands of liquid smoke but I'm certain that the only reason is that they want that business also!Never have had any problems with this, and I use it even in the larger more expensive Locomotives ($4,500.) without hesitation; I've been doing it for years.One more positive point that is popular with my family; some of the Lionel, etc., brands have only one scent and it's not really favorable with some folks. This brand has several scents that burn without leaving an offensive odor. I particularly like the one called "Christmas".Thank you!

Does it smell like Christmas trees?
I was hoping this smelled like balsam, fur, or pine trees. Not bad, but not what I was hoping for. Scent seems to get weak quickly with time, suggest buying a smaller bottle unless you really use a lot of smoke

Great smoke, very harsh smell
MTH smoke fluid creates the best smoke but the scents are very harsh. This one smells like a pine tree and is very pungent. If the smell was only half as harsh it would be fine. While I love how much smoke is produced by this product I have to deduct stars for the smell. I prefer Mega-Steam as the smells are really good and not harsh but the smoke output from that is less.
