Great Purchase for the Fit Ware Marvel fan
The First Avenger is my upgrade from my Garmin Fenix 3HR. While it's a smaller watch in comparison, it packs more features than the 3, such as oxygenation monitoring, stress tracking and rep tracking during strength training. It's blue casing is a little underwhelming, the same for the leather band, but the touch sensitivity of the watch screen is spot on. The First Avengers also uses a more accurate hr and motion tracking sensor then the 3HR as well a longer battery life. It looks GREAT when worn and for a huge Captain America fan like myself, the design, unique goal animations and functionality make it worth the purchase alone. I love it.One other draw for hikers. The Fenix 3HR comes equipped with a Garmin-designed hiking app that works with GPS, giving you a detailed readout on distance and location. It has the same GUI as the other Garmin designed apps. The First Avenger is missing that app, and there is no Garmin designed app available for download as of now. Because of this, I've kept my 3HR,solely for hiking. I had planned to sell my 3HR one I bought the First Avenger. If you're not a hiker or an avid hiker, it may not be big deal. I hike at least once a week, sometimes 2. The lack of a familiar look and feel of a Garmin app for hiking kind of sucks. Hopefully there will be one released soon.

Smart, Useful, and Stylish
This is the only watch with a buckled strap that has ever felt comfortable on my wrist. I'm not a petite woman, but I have very narrow wrists and have always disliked things flopping around or being too tight on my wrist. This one fits very comfortably. Even though this is the larger face, I'm a Cap fan, so I got the Cap version. It's been great to help me remember to log my water intake, the app is a better and less intense weight tracking system for me, and I love that it buzzes me now and again to get up. It keeps me from getting stuck in my head while I'm doing something, which was one of my primary reasons for getting a smartwatch. The other primary reason was to have my reminders and notifications that I want through the watch so I don't have to take my phone off silent. The watch irritates me so much less than my phone vibrating. And it was pretty easy to set up which notifications I want to come through. When it's not lit up, the branding is pretty subtle, but the blue and leather styling is really nice. The silicone strap fits even more comfortably, but I would probably only use that for more intense exercise. And the battery life is great. It'll last 5 days easily, sometimes longer. The themed faces are nice, some more obviously themed than others. I prefer the subtle ones, but the themed animations are fun and encouraging.

Awesome watch. Highly recommend
This is the first smart watch I have ever owned. I was sold instantly cause I love Captain America. The watch design itself is super nice and the 2 bands it comes with (light-ish brown leather and blue silicone) are great. As far as the functions of the watch go, they really arent bad. I read some people said they couldn't see anything on the watch cause of the brightness but I've had no issues with that whether in the sun or inside, and I keep the brightness right in the middle. I've also had no issues with delays in swiping. When your watch is connected and you get a text you can reply but it is a very limited set of auto-replies you can use. Also when someone calls it doesnt say the name of the contact just the number. But you can see the name when they text. I dont know if this is a normal smartwatch option but I'm just stating what I've noticed. When emails come in you can also read the email right away from the watch which I find helpfully incase I get an important email since I usually ignore my email due to so much junk mail. Lastly it's a sports watch so you can track so many workouts with it, track your daily water intake and it's always monitoring your heart rate, respirations and stress level. It has some more things it does but I'm sure I've said enough already. The only con is I feel it's a bit pricey for a smartwatch but whatever it's awesome. If you really want it but not sure about it, I'd say to get it.

Still holds up well in 2024
Had this watch years ago. Decided to rebuy it.. it arrived brand new factory sealed. Everything works perfectly even though an older model. It's still relevant to this day and does everything that most modern smart watches do perfectly .. recommend.
