Severely Dented
Pump was damaged from shipping but I’m sure the quality is good. Shipped with nothing but the pump and the box it came with. I hope the seller reads this loud and clear and improves on their shipping. For the people saying it’s made in China, are you new? Acdelco makes the majority of the parts in CHINA, then Mexico, USA.

Fits 2011 Cadillac Escalade-Made In China
Excellent New AC Delco part, mine did not arrive with any damage as other reviews state. Definitely made in China which is a big disappointment for OE parts, but build quality is superb. Was an exact match for my 2011 Cadillac Escalade at a better price than other parts stores. Installed easily and was not noisy at all like some other reviews stated. I installed this along with new lines and a new power steering rack and pinion. All parts were AC Delco.

Problem fixed!
Our 2013 GMC Yukon XL Denali has had a whining power steering pump since we bought it over 5 years ago. I finally got off my lazy duff and replaced it with this new Delco pump. I had it swapped out in less than an hour. I flushed the rack & pinion at the same time. So now, with the new pump, new belt and new fluid, it is silent silent silent. It was so easy that I'm kicking myself for not doing it 5 years ago.

I think it may be failing prematurely.
I bought this late last year and installed it a couple months after receiving it. It seemed to work fine. About 4 months ago (maybe a max of 8 months into use) it began to behave strangely. I now notice a notchiness in my steering that wasn't there before. I can also hear it groaning-something I was never able to notice after replacing. I had replaced the original power steering pump trying to diagnose a random chirping that would happen when steering-but that ended up being the idler pulley bearing. I am rating it 3 stars because I am not completely certain that the device is failing (though I think it may be). I do not have any leaks, no sloppiness in my steering with wheels on the ground or lifted in the air. I think my rack is OK... Another thing I noticed is that when I replaced my old unit, the fluid was dirty but not as dirty as the replacement fluid appears to have gotten NOW in the new unit. I am curious if the pressure relief valve may be failing based on my notchy feel and the random groaning or if some internal seals are degrading contributing to the suspended inclusions in the fluid. I haven't noticed any loss of fluid and it is filled to the correct level (checked cold and hot). I will say that the fluid looks darker than I would like/expect it to be. As stated before. It could be a bad line or rack-but there is no real indication of either. I think the pump is failing internally. 3 stars because I am outside my refund window and have no recourse for refund or replacement. I really have no option but to wait it out and buy another one/replace the old pump. I almost wish I had gone with a re-manufactured unit from a local parts store. Those would have had the option of a lifetime warranty. I could have replaced it locally no questions asked. I am just sad :(

So far, so good…
Installed 09/05/2021 replacing the original steering pump on a 2009 Suburban with 150,000 miles. This is clearly a part manufactured in China, but I am not able to find any difference in materials, weight or fit and finish. After installation, I filled the reservoir and started the engine then worked the rack all the way from end to the other. This seems to have purged the air out of the system; the reservoir took another bottle of fluid.Function seems to have been restored to “like new”. No noise, no disconcerting behavior. I will update this review periodically, but so far so good.
