Extremelybiased, but this is THE flavor enhancer to get
L & P have been conjuring this sauce for donkey's years. This one is the original recipe, not the US plagiarized oneUS makes other good stuff but should stop trying to make foreign products if they insist on changing the ingredients that make them unique.Tad too expensive but then so is a really good Burgundy. You get what you pay for.I bought this bottle as a spare, just in case the supply/shipping problems pretend to get even worse than today.

the real deal
Not the cheapest option but there really is no substitute for the original product.

Taste of olde
The sauce was wrapped with care to prevent any chance of breakage, and it was delivered quickly. Oh, but the taste! It is reminiscent of days long ago when Worcestershire Sauce wasn't watered down. Actually, it tastes better than the original American version. And when you open it, oh my goodness, the aroma just screams 'Steak!" You won't be disappointed and I for one will buy more.

Better than the American version in my opinion
There is definitely a difference in taste when used on meats and such. If you add it to a stew or something, the difference won't be noticed and frankly, the label just looks better. I will definitely buy more again.

It's good but way too expensive compared to the U.S. version
As others have stated, it does taste different than the U.S. version. If you love U.S. Lea & Perrin you will probably love this too. I think it's a tad spicier, and the vinegar tastes a little different. I did a side by side taste test and I think I like the UK better, but not by much and certainly not for what it costs here. It's a nice big bottle though, and If used judiciously it should last a long time. There are people that wouldn't buy a $20 bottle of wine, but for opposite reasons. $20 is too expensive to some (like me), and others wouldn't even think of going as low and buying a "cheap" $20 bottle of wine, so I guess it depends on your personal finances. I'll be sticking with the U.S. version when I run out.

The real deal! Makes best jerky ever
Made home made jerky. Used 2 cups of this with garlic, pepper, soy sauce, cyan pepper, honey, onion powder, brown sugar. Taste so good! This is original sauce. Not the watered down newer version.

YUP! IT'S BETTER
After receiving this product I pulled out my silver spoon and did a side by side taste test. What others are saying is true. The imported version is in tune with a pallet educated in the culinary arts, whereas the domestic version has been domesticated. I feel the cap on the bottle could be Americanized to be more efficient and user friendly.

Does not get any better.
This sauce is like fine wine. The worcestershire sauce in the 568ml bottle has a more intense flavor than that in the 284ml bottle and that has a more intense flavor than the 142 ml bottle. I have tried them all. The difference is very subtle. If you can tell the difference between Johnie Walker Red, Black, and Blue scotch they you will taste the same difference in these three bottles.
