SEIKOOriginal Rubber Watch Band 22mm Divers Model and Genuine Seiko Spring Bars

I bought my Seiko automatic diving watch in 1978 or so and I have worn this watch on many dives. I went to the jewelry stores and looked online and this is the best replacement I have found. The band is very nice but the buckle is a little weak looking; I switched it out with the old one which looks beefier and is still in good shape. The included pins are exact replacements and the buckle fits the new band perfectly.

Tricky to get the old band off—had to just cut it off the pegs which is no big deal because you’re replacing it anyway, right?! New band fits perfectly and is much sturdier and durable than non-OEM replacements. Takes a while for the band to break in, but in the end is just right for a watch I’ve worn daily since the early 90’s.

I purchased this band for my husband's watch (Seiko Scuba Divers 0028). The original band tore because it got caught on something which is not surprising since I wear his watch loose sort of like a bracelet. I have been wearing his watch since he passed away and was so pleased to find a replacement. The feel of this band is a bit different and says made in china. I found the buckle to be exactly the same weight and style as the one on the original band. I also like that the band came with two very nice pins. Rather than swap out the strap myself I spent $5 to have that done at a watch shop in the nearby mall. My husband wore this watch everyday for years and it went through a lot of adventures and kept on ticking. I'm looking forward to having the same experience. Would definitely buy this again but I am using this as an everyday watch. Still, FOR the folks out there using this band as intended I think you will be pleased at the quality of material and extra pins at this price point.

The Seiko dive watch is still out there, having survived years of the digital world and still in demand as a rugged friend for the water. Unfortunately, the rubber wristbands do wear out, thanks to saltwater, chlorine, and general wear and tear. This kit is a good replacement set. Understand that you may have to cut off the old wristband in order extract the old spring bars. This kit is a complete replacement set in that respect. Recommended.

Great to have available the same watch band that it came with!!! I had this watch for over 50 years and it still works great!!! Glad that you still have genuine Seiko bands!!!

As in the other reviews, I ordered this watch band because I wanted an original Seiko replacement at a reasonable price. When I got it, I noticed it was very similar, however a little thinner. The main part I didn't like was the buckle and latch were significantly cheaper in quality and did not have near the size as the one I already had on my old one. Safe to say, I took the other gentleman's advice in his review and replaced the buckle and latch from my old band onto the new one. I also used all my old pins because the ones that were sent were noticeably smaller as well. Over all, it's an ok watch band now that I did all the swapping around.

I bought my Seiko automatic diving watch in 1985. I wore this watch in Panama and Desert Storm. I went through two watchbands (the original and one I had to by from a jewelry store) and when the second one broke, I could not find a band to fit it locally. When I went to the jewelry store where I purchased the second band, they told me that bands for my watch were no longer available. So imagine how happy I was to not only find a watchband that is almost exactly like the original, but at half the price I paid for the second replacement band. It's great to be able to wear my watch again!
