Hands down- Best Value! (I hoard colors for resin art so I know..haha!!)
The media could not be loaded. The value of this set is simply unbelievable! I make resin art & I have paid for all the more expensive Name Brands (Black Diamond, Meyspring, EyeCandy etc..) that give you 2 or 5grams per package & not many packages per box, & while they do have a few colors that are different they don’t have anything over this Techarooz brand!! I was sooo delighted when I opened the box & there was actually 10 grams per color & 25 colors!!! I’d say there’s more than 10gms each because I’ve been using this set for a couple of months and it keeps going on & on.Ok now the cons- lol 😂 same as any other pigment company THE RED is not red red. It says Scarlet Red but it’s not super bright. The Orange is orange but not super vivid. And adding more didn’t bring it up. Still nice colors tho.Probably my best color is ‘Golden Sand’... this color is a toned down 24kt still nice & vivid omg, with tiny bits of sparkly browns & bronzes thru-out that you don’t notice until your pieces are done. I 1st used this in the Islands molds for the land/sand/river banks parts and WOWEE.. my jewelry gets me compliments!! I’ll buy the whole box again for just that Golden Sand 10gms of color.. but I use them all so no need to be wasteful here. Also, there are several colors that seem so close I wondered why they added them. Then I mixed them into the resin.. they each have a uniquely different color. So if you’re a person that likes ‘shades of colors’ this is a beautiful box of deliciousness.. and I’m not kidding you! There’s 4 greens, 5 blues, 5 pinkie/purple/reds, 5-6 metallic, Pearl & orange and of course black. After about a month I caught myself saying “what if I used the Pearl but I added a few sprinkles of Glacier Blue? Or Pearl plus a bit of Magenta??” And I figured out any color added in TINY amounts to Pearl makes a great color. Then I started with other colors. Like Emerald Green + Ocean Blue with a little bit of my white paste makes unreal turquoise’s. Making a bronze lighter or darker is easy by using less or adding a tiny bit of black. I usually don’t use black to darken, but for bronze, the black color is a beauty there. Anyways this is a setup made for playing with. Anything I mix up that I don’t love I put in pyramid or skeleton molds & keep going.(As a side note- the only true Red colors I found are a paste by Color Obsession & it’s ‘Fire Engine Red’. And a mica powder with pigment added from Colour Arte called ‘Puppy Love’ which is a luster/shimmer that’s unreal! Anything Colour Arte is amazing tho. This Techarooz setup with a few pastes (we need pastes mixed up along side for cool effects). & maybe some alcohol inks will provide endless possibilities!!! (Yes I made alcohol inks from these too. Not the same as piñata but they definitely work & the mica sparkling can’t be achieved from piñata or rangers.. a nice addition to make a few)Buy this 25 piece set from Techarooz.. you’ll be in an artist dreamland for a long while! We’d all prefer bottles but these packets are thicker & seal easily so for the money this is a BIGGIE VALUE!!! Just close them so slowly because this is super fine mica powder that shouldn’t be breathed .. that mixes into resin like magic!

Purple Rain. Worth it though!
I love the vibrant colors, the personal touch from the seller. Certainly worth it overall. However, and I'm sure this is not something that can be fixed as it's likely a product of ordering online, but 4 of my colors were only 2-5 grams because the bags weren't closed. Probably opened during shipping. Luckily they didn't get into the others but it sucks because a few were essential.Pure Gold/ 2.3g - DangitRoyal Blue/ 5.1g - Meh. There's like 6 blues.Hot Pink/2.5g - Aw, that could've been cool.Indigo/ 2.0g - OMG WTF! SERIOUSLY? THE PRETTIEST PURPLE IS EMPTY!? THE ONLY PURPLE IS EMPTY!? FML. KILL ME DEAD! THERE GOES EVERYTHING! I HATE THIS YEAR!but yeah, so overall very great purchase. Love the colors and I'll definitely buy again. . . . . . . .because, well, I have to. . . . . .I still need purple.

Great Quantity and Color Selection, A Little Goes a Long Way, Beautiful Color
The media could not be loaded. The Techarooz Mica Powder for Epoxy Resin mixed well in clear ProPour epoxy and provided a beautiful color throughout the resin. I mixed about a 1-inch thick epoxy sample and cut it in half to see how the resin distributed after a 3-day cure. See the attached picture and video. The mica distributed well throughout the mix and it didn't take much at all to provide a solid color throughout the resin, only about 2 dips from the provided measuring disk. There was no settling of color and the mica color was uniform top to bottom. The two-tone color provided interesting and beautiful swirls in the mix.

Beautiful Powders that smudges but don’t worry I’ve included a DIY fixative formula
The media could not be loaded. I make handmade greeting cards in Jamaica (HandmadecardsbyNandi) everything needs to be imported so always looking to DIY alternatives. I have Ranger Perfect Pearl powders and they are incredibly awesome, easy to use in a brilliant array of colours, but out of my budget, so I bought these. The price point was excellent so worth the risk to see if they would work on water colour paper, spraying with water and rubbing on paper to add a glimmer.Okay... so , using my finger, it rubs in beautifully and looks amazing BUT it does rub off a little leaving the shimmer dulled somewhat. Putting splatters of powder Onto watercolour paper with the handy little spoon, I sprayed with a mixture of water and hairspray (2/3 to 1/3) it worked beautifully. See pictures. I made a paint of the same water hairspray fixative and painted the paper that worked as well. As you can see, the mica just shimmers and shines adding a wonderful luster. The colour spectrum of 25 colours is rich, wide and exciting and a little goes a long way. The bags are seal top so just keep them upright in the box. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase but know that it’s not as perfect as those perfect Perfect Pearls.Okay, so not changing my above ratings, but just showing on various cardstock how the powders look. They were all just mixed with water and painted onto the c/s with a brush. 25 shimmering colours but they all smudged. I played and played and finally came up with the right fixative formula it’s 3/4 liquid hairspray and 1/4 alcohol. The hairspray sets the mica and the alcohol dries it fast. This formula worked with brush on, spray on and splatter techniques. Used on embossing folder and also with rubber stamp and VersMark stamp pad then set the mica with the DIY fixative formula. So buy these beautiful powders and have fun.
