I was so glad to be able to purchase this switch online, sure made a simple fix for my power recliner I ended up ordering a extra one just in case my other switch ever goes bad

This device was used to replace the goofy single wire touch switches used on an elderly woman’s favorite recliner. The technology previously used seems to have a short life and is problematic in nature. As an electronic engineer of 45 years I welcomed the simple plug and play design. After repairing the “touch” system twice this resolve took a matter of seconds. In the case of the recliner the two buttons were out of view and an issue for impaired sight, now there is simply and easy to see and handy switch device sitting in clear view on the adjacent stand. Mounting hardware that comes with the device makes the physical replace simple if you choose to secure it and make it look professional, but as mentioned above there may some advantage to allowing it to be positioned by the user. Sweet!

Works great! I forgot to place the button with a front to back orientation. I placed it in up/down position, and didn’t realize my mistake until completely finished so I left it because it still works fine.

Replacing the switch on my electric sofa was easy and saved quite a bit of money over a repairman.
