Can’t speak on the flavor personally, but my pups seem to enjoy it! I’ve been feeding my pups Hill’s Science diet for about a year now and switched to the healthy weight brand to help them lose some lbs, along with exercise they’ve managed to gradually lose a healthy amount of weight and seem to be in overall great health! I definitely recommend all of Hill’s brand. For both of my dogs (1 is 25lbs, 1 is 12), I order a bag a month for just under $40 and it’s definitely a great price for the quality.

My girl loves Hill Science. Never had a problem with chewing or digesting it, I really like that they have weight balance dog food.

Hills Science perfect weight dog for is great for dogs who tend to put weight on. It’s healthy ingredients and my Lhasa’s reaction to it has just been the best. When Amazon delivers the the dog food, he literally accompanies me to the kitchen and get wait to have it for dinner. I never have to coax him to eat. He loves it!

Our dog, a pomeranian, went in for a vet visit. Vet told us he was 3 lbs heavier than last year. It was way past time for our little guy to go on a diet. We started this dog food six weeks ago. His start weight was 25.4 lbs. Yesterday, he weighed in at 22.2 lbs. We feed him twice a day with the recommended serving size. His activity level has increased and he looks slightly slimmer. I haven't noticed any change in his coat (as others have noted with their pets). I have noticed his breath smells better though. We are extremely happy this is working for our baby, and we are going to keep him on it for a while. I will say that this dog food has a strange smell that isn't like the smell of regular dog food. To me, it kinda smells like some kind of plastic? or something, but it doesn't seem to put him off from eating it. Really happy with the price on Amazon...it's $10 cheaper than at my local pet store.

I feed, and have fed my dog science diet all her life. I auto ship which is great, even tho I'm employed by a large chain pet store which carries this food in store I choose to order it here cause it is a little less hefty on the wallet. I do actively promote science diet to other pet parents looking to feed their fur babies a good food. Especially weight sensitive breeds like my pug. She loves her food and she's been healthy all her life(I'm always getting kudos from my vet because a large percentage of pugs are overweight). and I'm a strong believer that it has a lot to do with a good diet, and regular exercise. The feeding chart is great and I have heard good feed back from pet parents that this particular food has helped their dog lose those extra pounds.I've never had a single problem . . . Until now. I'm leaving good stars because I still adore the quality of the food. But I received my auto ship and pulled it out of the box, opened the bag and poured it into my dogs food container as usual. While I was pouring it out came a TURD LIKE NUGGET! Little pieces of kibble were stuck to it even tho it was hardened it's still had the same consistency and look of a piece of poop! I'm having the company look into it cause I'm appalled and disappointed/concerned. So just be aware I will post updates if anyone finds this helpful.

We have a dachshund and one big issue with this breed is weight. They have a different metabolism then most and if you’re not careful your dog can get overweight quickly. It’s not healthy for any dog to be overweight but for a dachshund with their body structure it’s more dangerous than others. It’s so sad to see a dachshund looking like a blimp. We have been feeding our dog perfect weight for 3 months now and his weight stays well regulated. He looks so good I am proud to take him into public places without shame. As a dachshund lover I highly recommend science diet perfect weight
