... year I thought that it would have been really useful to have it
As a beginner in mandarin language who stay in China 4 months / year I thought that it would have been really useful to have it, but I found it as useful as a Swiss knife : multipurpose, but a bit useless at the same time !There are some good things in it and it is a thin reminder that might be handy to have in your luggage when you travel there.However, it's been obviously designed for Americans, and why a serious learner of the Chinese language and culture would like to learn useless things such as : "hello", "I'm american", "american football", "ice hockey", "older female cousin", "father's younger brother" etc...The idea and the intention was good but to be honest, I'm not sure that I like it.

Not what I expected
Not much relevant vocabulary if you are not an American high-school student or undergraduate who also happens to like American sports. As a middle-aged Irish woman working a regular type job and into non-US related hobbies, this is not the most helpful purchase I have ever made.To be honest I am not sure that 'auditorium, ' 'hair dresser' and 'bell hop' are survival phrases in any language.
