Excellent Balanced Audio? At This Price Point? (More Likely than you think)
(Edits are preceeded with a ^) Ohkay, so first thing first, I'm kind of exploring the low end of headphones to find the best sounds. So far on my list: Multiple JBLs, OnePlus Bulletz Bass Edition (2019), KZ EDM, KZ ZSN Pro Xs, Multiple cheapo Samsung ones. This is pretty much the closest I've come to the best sounding out of all of them! Bass is superb! (Not too much, not too little, very punchy, well defined and doesn't overpower). Mids are pretty good, but yeah, still a classic V-shaped sound. Hi ends also really good, but do sound a bit compressed. No sibilance or fatiguing here tho. Could listen to these for hours. Battery life: ^Stellar! One charge easily lasts a day with moderate to heavy use, sometimes more. Charges really quickly too, so yep, battery life is a pro for these headphones. Build quality: You get what you pay for. Nothin' more, nothin' less. Very light and does feel (mostly) durable. UPDATE: as with the other reviewers, the rubber coating came off. I completely removed it from both earphones, and honestly? feels just as sturdy. Magnets now work, actually, which is a surprise. Do I like this happening? NO. Can I live with it? Uh, sure. ^Magnets might as well not be there. Mic quality: Seems to be perfect for calling, need nothing more here. ^Recording quality is okay. Pairing is painless, both windows and android (11). Comfort: 11/10, almost cannot feel them. Painless to the P. Codecs: The usual: SBC, AAC, no AptX, but then I was expecting that. ^The usual switching to handsfree mode when in a call, but that's an issue with bluetooth as a whole. You can work around that by using your device mic. You can hardly tell difference unless, y'know, flacs. Now to the comparisons:KZ ZSN Pro X: Sound cleaner? I like the treble more on the KZs but they are very uncomfortable after a few hours. Also, this is wireless. ^Changed to the larger eartips, the Sony's are now significantly better (to my ears)KZ EDX: Better, in every single way. End of word.OnePlus Bulletz BE: This wipes the floor with OnePlus's extreme bass. I'd say that the bass on the OnePlus is bad enough that sometimes I feel like I'm only listening to bass. Not my cup of tea, but hey, to each their ears.Samsung Buds Plus: Honestly, I don't know. I think I'd take the Samsungs, but then, the price difference is staggering, so yeah, this is still way over VFM. Take this anyday.OnePlus Buds Z: Yeah, those are better experience, this has better sound. Take your pick (except you can't, because they don't sell it anymore. Poor OnePlus. Well, here's to Nothing :p)To conclude: I'd buy them even if a bit more 'spensive, they're that good. Go get emPS: Will update in 2 months.PSS: Updated a bitPSSS: Updated more

Best wireless earphones in the 3-5k price range
Bought these after a lot of research. Finally after 3 weeks of usage I can say I am fully satisfied with this product. It's good value for Money.I was confused between whether to take wireless or wired earphones since I play pubg and COD games causually. In a lot of reviews I read there is some lag which isn't good for gaming. Still I took a leap of faith to go ahead with wireless earphones. Glad I bought them. Now coming to the product review. What are the two most important things to look for in a wireless earphones? As per me, they are sound quality and battery life. On both the areas it does an exceptional job.1. Sound is great with amazing bass. 4.5/52. Battery is as mentioned. Have been able to use them for 3-4 days with 5-6 hours daily usage with a full charge which is too good. Takes 3 hours to fully charge. 10 min charge really gives 1 hr of usage comfortably. 5/52. Coming to comfort, these earphones are super light weight. Sometimes I even forget that I am wearing them. 4.5/53. Build Quality is decent. Though it is plastic. But the touch and feel of it is really good. 4/54. No cable tangling at all. 5/55. Buttons are very nicely placed and raised up so it is easy to identify them without looking at them. 5/56. There is obviously a lag while playing pubg and cod, but it's negligible. If you don't know about this lag, probably, you won't even notice. I have been playing pubg on this for weeks and no complaints here. 4/57. Amazing noise isolation. Use the right size eartips and It blocks almost 90% of outside sound. 4/58. Noise Cancellation is not very good. It's just average. However, you won't get noise cancellation in any earphone under 5k. 3/59. No issues with connectivity. It's great. I keep my phone in one room plugged in for charging and listen to songs even two rooms apart with no connectivity issues. What is missing?1. These are not rated to be water or splash proof. This is a disappointment. So, if you are using this in summers and you sweat a lot, there is a always a chance of damaging them. So, some extra care is needed.2. Weak magnets. Though, it's decent. But they could have been better. With a little force or sometimes walking with them the earbuds move away. (This is not a deal breaker thing, so shouldn't be a deciding factor).Confused with other options like Oneplus Bullets Wireless Z/ Realme Wireless Earbuds/ Opp m31 encore?Trust me and go ahead with these. Oneplus Z has some really cool features like quick connect and play/off on putting the earbuds together. But, you won't miss them. It hardly takes a few seconds to switch from one device to another and with a few seconds button press you can play/pause songs and turn on/off the sony ones. The extra bass on Sony really makes music listening experience awesome. And you can trust on Sony for the durability and good customer support.P.S.- They are made in Vietnam so no chinese product.EDIT: After more than a year of usage, the right bud is breaking into two. Due to repeated usage the rubber on ear buds is getting torn. Durability is a concern. Rest all good. Deducting one star for Durability issues.
