Algebraic Topology Paperback – 3 December 2001

I received a nice copy from Amazon, delivery was quick. Coming to the book, this is great starting point for Algebraic Topology if you know Point set Topology ( because he assumes that the reader knows Quotient Topology). Also, the book is legally available ( on his website). Before introducing a concept, he will motivate it by proper examples and proves theorems after stating some interesting consequences hence great for self study. Some people may not be happy some of the proofs but that's a negligible issue. There are great number of exercises at the end of each section. As he explains in the preface, it would be pity if we miss the geometric intuition of the subject ( and it IS geometric), hence there are lots of diagrams in the book, which is a plus point.Enjoy reading it!

Initially, I thought that this book condition may not be good but after getting this I was surprised. I didn't find any scratch mark or anything else. Just some stamps are there but that is fine. I got this book in just Rs 395.
