I’m originally from Canada and don’t get back often. Two restaurants I miss dearly, Harvey’s and Swiss Chalet. By accident I m stumbled across Swiss Chalet gravy/dipping sauce mix. Add it to any rotisserie chicken or French fries and it’s instant Swiss Chalet. Now just import Harvey’s.

If you want the best dipping sauce with your chicken this is it hands down.

Lived in Canada 2 years then returned to U.S. and miss Swiss Chalet. I found this recently and am completely shocked this tastes exactly like what you get fresh in the restaurant - honestly I think in the restaurant they probably use this exact same mix. My Canadian wife is so happy with this and mixes up a little pot of it while I'm out fetching a rotisserie chicken from anywhere. Unique chicken dipping sauce, slightly festive flavor but good year-round.

There are no Swiss chalets in the US any longer and I grew up on this delicious food so I really miss it. The sauce is exactly like the restaurant sauce. I used to work at Swiss Chalet For years and I used to drink the chalet sauce from a coffee mug haha. It's that good and This is The same sauce. I'm delighted that we can still buy the sauce! Plus, it came on time.

I grew up with Swiss Chalet my mom would take me every other weekend and we would go for the special they used to run chicken fries and the gravy is the best sauce ever. I use it now for my fries and chicken I wish we had a Swiss Chalet where I lived in Stuart Virginia I would take my family so they could experience the same as I did when I was a kid with my mom making memories.

When Swiss Chalet was in the city I lived in, it was our favorite place for chicken, their french fries and that AMAZING dipping sauce. So happy to be able to buy online and satisfy our craving for the sauce. I do feel that the product is way overpriced, however, and will probably not order as many times as I would like to. I packet was barely enough for two of us as we love to even soak our french fries in the sauce. Buy a broasted chicken at the grocery store and french fries at a fast food place, and we are living Swiss Chalet again. But if we would serve this to our family when they visit, 3 packets would not be enough. Please lower the price, so we can afford it more often! I really think it is probably double what it should cost.

Having grown up in Canada, I always loved Swiss Chalet Rotisserie Chicken meals including their French fries and a toasted bun. What made it special was the tangy dipping sauce, served warm.This sauce packet is easy to prepare, just add water to the powder, heat to a boil while stirring, and then simmer a bit until it thickens.I use it to dip my chicken and fries and it tastes just like I remember from the restaurants. I can literally drink any remaining sauce.I only wish it was sold here in the US, as it’s a bit pricy. I also bought the canister size which is a bit cheaper per ounce.Highly recommended. St. Hubert BBQ also makes a similar product, but I prefer Swiss Chalet’s sauce.
