my baby girl loved it.

My 5 y/o granddaughter happened to be at my house the day it arrived, I just ordered it a few days ago. We opened it right away. I was curious how the size MED fit...perfect! She's a tall, slim, active girl. Once she easily put on her costume she was making sound effects and motions as if she was the character!!! My almost 5 y/o grandson now has a Batman costume coming next week. I waited to check on the sizing. Perfect!!!Now that we've had both the costumes to compare...the Batman one has a much nicer face mask, formed plastic. The Batgirl mask is flimsy and arrived with a crinkled ear and no amount of pressing it flat has helped. The Batman style mask could just be made in Fuschia/Pink plastic for the girls. The Cape on the girls was attached via velcro to the shoulders, where the boys was attached at the neck causing irritation and scratches. We ended tying the corners ever so slightly...very short.

Good fit, glad I went with the medium. My daughter wore it to two events before Halloween and two nights of trick or treating, and everything held up. The mask is close to tearing, and the boot covers got a lot of wear, but it was super cute and overall a good value for the money, all the extra accessories really make it cute!

I read a lot of reviews stating the product runs small, but I was weary to buy size large for my 5 year old so I went with my gut instinct and bought size medium (like normal). It fits her perfect! She typically wears size 6-7 in casual clothes. The costume was not snug or too short. The boot covers we a little big, but nothing that was not adjustable. The material is soft and light, so we will be adding either silver or black leggings and a long-sleeved shirt when we go out in the evening. I am very satisfied with the costume (my husband too) and our daugther absolutely loves it!Oh, and it did come with the cape, mask, belt, boot covers, and gauntlets - nothing was missing in our order.

This product came fast and exactly as anticipated. My daughter wore it for Halloween and loved it.

Positives: This costume is extremely cute and my five year old daughter LOVES it. She even won 2nd place in a costume contest.Negatives: The mask is meant to be tight fitting and has elastic to pull it tight. The downside is that the material is so flimsy that the mask began to tear within about 5 minutes. This was a size medium and she is a very small five year old. Regarding sizing, the package says "medium (u.s.a. size 8 - 10) for 5 - 7 years." Well that makes perfect sense. The washing instructions are also interesting: "Wipe clean with damp cloth. Line dry. Do not wash. Do not bleach. Do not iron. Do not dry clean." That's nice. A costume you can't iron that arrives with a million wrinkles. A costume for a child that says "Do not wash." Obviously I don't need to add that it was made in China.
