Leaks
The tapenade was fine, BUT both jars had leaked olive oil into the packaging. The safety seals had popped, and everything was oily.There has to be a better way of shipping - especially when this product costs so much.

Didn't like the taste
Bought this for my husband because couldn't get the Fotis Olive Tapenade yet that I normally buy at Costco around the holidays. They do have a store in Huntington Beach that sells it but don't like to drive that far. The brand above is nothing like Fotis. The taste and consistency are yuck. Didn't like it at all so would not buy it again.

Excellent Tapenade
We have bought this tapenade many times. We first bought it because it was one of the few (only?) tapenades that listed anchovies as one of the ingredients that we consider essential for a good tapenade. It's not over powering, just adds a subtle addition to the overall flavor.
