Comfortable, Uniquely Styled, and Well Designed Japanase-Manufactured Pencil at a Reasonable Price
This is a fantastic mechanical pencil, particularly when one considers the price. Although all plastic, the pencil is very well constructed, comfortable to hold, and has a very positive mechanical feel to it. Like all the Kuru Toga pencils made by Mitsubishi in Japan, this pencil uses an automatically rotating mechanism for the pencil lead so that you always have a sharp point without having to physically rotate the pencil barrel in your hand. You don't even notice it is happening, but every time you touch the pencil to the paper, it is slightly rotating the lead shaft. These also come in different colors, primarily to differentiate the pencil lead thickness, but you may find some of the same lead thickness in different colors. I have three of these now, in different grades, this one being the least expensive one, and I think it is a great pencil, even in this all plastic model. Comfortable, easy to use, and uniquely styled, as well. An easy five star product.

Most durable mechanical pencil
Love these pencils! They write great and are absolutely the most durable mechanical pencils I have ever used.I got a week from other brands at most. Also they had flat spots in lead.I had my first one of these for 3+ years of touring on the road life.Love how well thought out they are and that the lead turns so there are no flat spots or sharp edges that can rip through paper.I even had one that I used doing finish wood work construction. It was fine until I had dropped it for the hundredth time and had floating in tool belt and the body of it finally broke. That was about six months of construction after six or so months of regular use.I wish more things were this well thought out and built this well.

Great but no refill erasers
Unlike other lead pencils this one had an auto sharpener which was cooler than other lead pencils. That means, you do not have to click to lower the lead as you write which saves a lot of time.

Works great
This mechanical pencil works great and feels good in the hand. Easy to use for long periods of time without causing hand cramping. Purchased a spare to keep on hand.
