Excellent value bluetooth headphones
I needed a new pair of bluetooth headphones after my old headphones became damaged so i scoured online reviews. I decided to plump for these for several reasons 1) The almost all positive reviews 2) The looks 3) Sony are a reputable make. The sound quality on these headphones is fantastic, straight out of the box, i've never been a great believer in "burning in" headphones, they usually sound the same in six months as they do from new, in my experience. With the easy to use smartphone app you can adjust the bass, EQ and almost everything you need to. The top and mid ranges are incredible and if i have one gripe it's that on some tracks the bass could do with a little more punch, but believe me it is a very minor quibble. The bluetooth range is pretty impressive as well, i have left my phone in the kitchen a few times to travel to various places in the house and even out into the garden and it has never lost signal. The noise cancelling is perfectly adequate as well, i have to turn it off whilst running or i don't hear cars coming down the country lanes that i run down, so it's clearly working. Comfort wise, not a gripe from me, i've seen some people say that the inside of the can itself (with the small plastic insert) can be uncomfortable on the ears. Not for me, but then i have small flat ears anyway. The build quality is excellent too and a hard case would have been a bonus for travel, but the sound quality is that good that you let this pass. Truly an excellent pair of bluetooth headphones.

Top Class
Debated between these and the ones above but for another £50 a music fan like myself was neve going to notice the difference. you don't get a case, just a bag but they spend all the time on my head so no issues. sound is fantastic, very comfortable, I have large ears, like large large ears. and they cover them fine, does put a bit of pressure on the top of the ears but you can find a comfortable position for them no worries. Without music noise cancellation is average, with music on noise cancelation is 100%. personally not a fan of taking calls or having it on ambient setting where it lets some noise in as it puts it through the speakers and it sounds so strange. for example on phone calls you can hear yourself back through the speakers. They are useful for running or walking near traffic though. best feature is the quick ambient mode where you can hear everything without having to take them off. Top class, great product

Great Headphones ( Just not great ambient sound )
Headphones are great, Noise cancelling works well to block music sound to surrounding area although doesnt do a great job blocking surrounding sound to the ears of the user.Music quality is fantastic, Aux Cord is super handy. Long Battery life, nice carrier bag too. Bluetooth pairing is simple and effective.

A wonderful bundle in a compact form
I badly needed a new pair of quality headphones. I picked these up in the Black Friday deal bt couldn't open them till Christmas as my girlfriend bought them for me. I tried them out Christmas morning, and wow the sound quality compared to my old headphones TaoTronics noise cancelling. These noise cancelling on these is pretty darn good. It puts you nicely in a sound cocoon of your music/podcast.audio book. The battery life is excellent at 35 hours however this does get drained faster if you activate noise cancelling. Using the headphones is easy there are just two buttons - both on the left hand side; one is power on/off the other activates ambiant sound or noise cancelling. To play/pause a piece of music just tap the middle side of the right-hand ear cup. Sound up down is a simple swipe up or down. To move forward or back is a simple swipe to the right for forward and left for back. Overall I can't really fault the product. It's easy to use and the sound is amazing. The only niggle is that the inner of the earcup is a fine membrane material, but that's probably to allow the speakers in the ear cup to give you the high quality sound. I'd say these are comfortably the best headphones I've ever owned.

Great headphones for the price
For £170 these headphones are brilliant. I have used the sony wh-1000xm3 headphones and they are definitely better for noise cancellation, which you would hope to be the case considering the price tag that comes with them. That being said, the noise cancellation on this is pretty good and the sound quality is almost comparable to the newer models. The headphones have a nice look and feel to them and they aren't as chunky as the wh-1000xm3. I also personally find them very comfortable. From 70% charged they lasted me 3 full days of use (and I spend about 8hours a day using them). The volume increase and decrease method is a bit annoying but I am not sure how sony could fix that and it doesn't bother me too much. The only real complaint I have is that it only comes with a bag and not a case which is a shame. I didn't think this was enough reason to remove a star as my review is about the product itself.

Great sound, terrible build quality
The quality of sound was great, crisp sound but the speakers aren't great at handling bass heavy music - often it make it quieter if too loud or trains volume and creates heavy distortion. Battery life is superb, over 7 days, listening for 2-3 hours (21 hours total) it was at 30% battery. What let me down, and has put me off of purchasing Sony audio products in the future, is the build. The quality seems okay and is relatively comfortable, but at the 2 year mark the headphones have split and fallen to pieces at the seams on both sides, despite handling with care and storage in the protective bag.
