The Ultimate Grass (for my cat)
I can't seem to grow enough of this for my spoiled, toothless cat. And when the pot gets root bound and the grass stops growing, I'll toss the whole disc out into the yard where it'll come back to life days or weeks later. Like I have one in my yard right now that's been going for a couple of months. All three cats love it, but the toothless one loves it the most. So yeah, I sit and give her a single blade at a time because she's worth it. This has been her favorite brand of grass so far, so it must taste great! The posted timeline on the bag is accurate and the grass can really tolerate some neglect. It grows beautifully green and thick, I def recommend it.

Well worth buying
The pictures with my review are on day 5 after planting! I am amazed at how fast this has grown to be honest! The first seeds we planted barely had time to grow thanks to our chickens snatching them up, so this time we decided to grow in pots rather than in the run. I soaked them in water for about 30hr (I intended on 24hr which is my usual for any seed but I forgot about these) and planted them in regular yard dirt and watered them and left them in a shady spot on the porch for 3 days until I noticed strong sprouts, then moved them into the sun and they have grown at warp speed and look so bright and healthy. We planted some out in thr flower bed and they're growing great too but not as tall as the ones that were in a shady place for the first 3 days. Overall I would say value for money is great because they're growing like there's no tomorrow, even though we bought them for the chickens, our cat has already started showing interest AND the plot of itnim growing in the yard is attracting deer! When these seeds are gone I'm most definitely buying more now that I know us humans can get good benefits from it too

Perfect cat grass!
The media could not be loaded. Our cat needed more fiber, vitamins, and a tastier plant than my other houseplants, that she shouldn't eat. She loves the oats I grew for her. I hope she'll realize that the plant by her water fountain is just for her. I have not seen any recent nibbles on my houseplants yet, so maybe she's stopped trying. These sprout easily after soaking overnight. I planted a thick layer of seeds in some fresh coco coir, barely covered, and they were sprouted in 2 or 3 days, mature at 5. My cat approves!

Not a good batch, would love a replacement if possible
I am using these for my chickens. I always try to support farmers and get organic. It seems like half of these seeds didn't sprout or germinate out of the bag. Each batch left my with about 50% working out. Maybe I got a bad batch. Would love to give another shot but these oats were not the most productive of the seeds I bought.

Least vigorous of 4 varieties of grass from Thunder Acres (vs Wheat, Winter Rye, and Barley)
I bought 4 varieties of cat grasses from this vendor. They were all prepared at the same time in the same way using the same soil mix. A sample was frozen overnight, then soaked in room temperature water for 24-hours, then finally spread over the soil mixture and then loosely covered with about 2 cm of soil. I have attached 2 pictures of the particular grass reviewed (Oat) and also two pictures of all of the grasses together in their separate containers (wheat, 2 x rye, barley and oats) . They rye sample was planted identically in two different containers to see if that made a difference - which it didn't - which rules out any differences due to containers. What you see here is about one week of growth. All were planted in the same density so the differences in pattern are not due to planting one more densely than the others. The wheat is astounding - covering the entire growth area with no bare patches whatsoever. The oat grass is the least dense and vigorous variety. The barley seed seems to attract animals outside to dig holes in the mixture and also climb into the container and mat down the grass. and the rye grass is in between the vigor of the wheat and oat. All containers were grown in the same area so the only reason why animals would prefer to dig up and sit on one container and ignore the other 4 is due to the grass itself.I'm leaving the exact same text for all reviews, but the stars will differ. The photos of the specific grass will be only attached to the specific review but the photos of all 4 varieties will be in all. There is no feedback left for flavor because I didn't taste them myself and the grass is still to new for my cats to be comfortable with it. They are curious and sniff at it, but they still both prefer to eat the regular grass on my lawn. However, all of these purchased grasses are now at the stage where cats can eat them. All 4 varieties are great with the wheat in my particular order astounding. I bought the largest quantities available from this for each which was 10bs each of barley, oats, and wheat and 5lbs of rye.Look up the other Thunder Acres varieties if you are interested in the particular pictures of that particular seed.
