My laundry room is a closet so organizing things in it is a challenge but this was so easy to install and fits really well! Definitely a space saver

I really like this iron holder. It's wide enough to easily hold my Rowenta iron. The "safety strap" is a nice extra as I have mine hanging rather high on the wall. I think the iron sits snugly without it, but the strap is easy to use and a nice extra. I like the fact that the cord wraps around the back of the holder (rather than in a little pocket below like many of them have) Easy to wrap and it's out of the way. I haven't tested the heat resistance as I never put my iron away when it's fully heated. All in all, a nice product.

Safe for hot irons: yes up to about 190C/375F (see limitations #3 below). Please run your own tests since the holders might vary or the test conditions/results might vary.(1) Procedure: We tested the melting temperature of the front pad using a temperature-controlled soldering iron. We verified the temperature of the tip of the soldering iron using a k-type thermocouple and a meter. We measured the MAX iron temperature (Rowenta Focus 1700W max) using the same k-type thermocouple and meter.(2) Results:Did not melt for an applied temp (soldering iron): 380F / 193C for 20 secondsSome slight melting for an applied temp (soldering iron): ~ 200C for about 10secsMax Rowenta Temp: Flat side of Rowenta iron: 318F / 159C In steam hole of Rowenta iron: 350F / 177CThe flat of the iron holder did not melt for any of these temperatures for one application for a duration of approximately 20seconds.(3) Limitation: The duration of application was not measured (approximately 20 seconds) and it was only applied once (so multiple applications might degrade the pad).NOTE: one star was subtracted since the ad did not provide any indication of the melting temperature nor did it define 'heat resistant'. Otherwise looks like a good product. We will update once we start using it. Again, if concerned, run your own tests.

Made of durable plastic easy to install the strap to hold iron in place is great feature I would recommend

I have been ironing my king size cotton sheets on a table top ironing board (only the hems). Ugh. I bought a large board and have a large Rowenta iron that I needed storage for. This holder securely and discreetly hold my iron in my closet. I have not tried to put away the iron hot because I find it unnecessary and prefer to let the iron cool to dump the water. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Best item to avoid accidents and save money at all home laundries.

It's hard to tell from a photo - but the quality on this item is good. It's strong and good looking. The jury is still out on how long the rubber restraining band lasts, but it's really just for extra safety - I sometimes don't even use it and the iron stays in place fine.
