Convenient and tasty. Nice texture. Good value
These are really handy to go to when I don't have fresh Peppers. Just soak them in some water to rehydrate and then use them in cooking or just put them into a sauce that's going to cook for a while and they will hydrate in there.

I love this mixture
Very flavorful! I add them to omelets, soups, really anything I'd add bell peppers to. They really are so convenient, especially if you're camping. Of course dehydrated food usually is, but this brand really has great flavor, you can tell as soon as you open the container. I'm not sure how long they would last, I use them a lot, but I'm sure they would last a while. My last scoop is always as fresh smelling as the 1st one was.

Better Than Spoilage
Need only a small bit, or do not have time after work to nip into grocery store on the way home? Dehydrated fresh bell pepper is a great substitute. Works in salads, soups, stews and other sauces. Always best to rehydrate the portion before placing on salads or quick cooking but rehydration not necessary for slow cooking. Flavor is subjective, but finely diced bell pepper (often red and green) are a nice visual accent along with other seasonings. Price is also subjective to personal use. Expensive for short term heavy use but a great buy for limited long term use where fresh bell peppers would certainly spoil, and less expensive than frozen chopped green peppers by volume.

Great pantry staple
Although a little pricey (what isn't these days), these are very handy for adding flavor to Winter soups and chili. Because, hey, who only wants a bowl of hot water? Add some dehydrated mushrooms and a baby carrot or two with potato or noodles and you are on your way to making soup. Add some salty bouillion powder if you can handle the sodium. You can even add these to some rice to rehydrate while cooking for nicely flavored rice.

Great taste and great value
I bought these (along with a few other dehydrated veggies) because I was tired of buying fresh and having to throw away half of it because it would go bad before I could use it. I don't cook a lot and I cook for one so that's easier to do than you'd think.Anyway I wasn't sure how dehydrated veggies would stack up but I figured I'd try it in soups, if nothing else.I put these in a bowl of water during my work day (wfh) and let it re-hydrate while I was working. When I started my soup, I tasted the water to see and it actually tasted like bell peppers. Watered down bell peppers, but bell peppers nonetheless.I add this and the other re-hydrated veggies to my soup as well as a bit of the water I re-hydrated them in and it gave the soup great flavor.I'd definitely recommend this. I will add that a little goes a long way. I'll definitely re-hydrate less next time as I didn't need all that I prepped.

Great for what I wanted it for
This item can be very costly if you only want a small amount. Best to buy this and put it in smaller containers to freeze some or share it with a friend. I am a great cook and sometimes I make my own seasoning blends. I love to use the flavor of green pepper sometimes rather than fresh green peppers. McCormick used to make a swiss steak seasoning mix in a packet for years which they discontinued. I found the copy cat recipe on line to make my own. It calls for dehydrated green pepper and I could not find this at any reasonable price anywhere so I tried this. Excellent product...good flavor and freshness...I made up a batch of different seasoning blends...which I like to store in my fridge and then frozen the rest of the container I did not use.
