POOR WORKMANSHIP
This item is very poorly made and it is pine not hardwood. The pressing plates do not match up and there was sawdust between them. The cut edges are not sanded, the nut that holds the handle on is missing and the hinges are not screwed in tight. It will take some work to get it in useable condition.

Just the basics
Works well, but not as pictured and very much rough cut and slap dash assembled. Top board edges were cut at a 45 degree angle, but still sharp. Underside of the handle was very rough to the touch. The little handle block was tacked in place with a nail gun I think. So what's a splintered tortilla monster to do you ask? A few minutes with the random orbit sander and a 220 grit disk , my little wood burner, and then a couple coats of food safe stain and it actually looks quite nice, This product is very much like those "paint your own pottery" places. It requires a little love, but you will have a product that was personalised by YOU!
