The bags I ordered should have been larger. They fit, barely.No odor from pail.

These compost bags have been great for us. Thin enough to break down over time but sturdy enough to sit in the compost bin and take the scraps out without breaking.

I bought these warily because while they had a good rating compared to other compostable bags, several people complained that they split easily on the bottom. While some people may not have the time or inclination to be extra careful how they handle these bags, that's what I do.I do not put wet items into the bag. I leave my wet coffee grounds in their wet filter paper on a plate to dry before putting them into the bag. I wash out my eggs shells to avoid the smell that develops over time and leave them to dry as well. Nothing I put in the bag is wet.So far, I've been able to tie the full bags with a knot on top. Then while supporting the bottom of the bag with one hand (just in case), I put the bag into a used paper bag in my kitchen (which is cooler than outside) until trash day. The night before trash day, I dump the full bags of recyclable food into my green bin on top of my grass and tree cuttings.So far, no split bags and no smelly bags of food waste. These bags are much better than dumping loose food scraps into the bin...especially when summer arrives.

They are not the strongest, however they work great for me and that they are biodegradable for a awesome!

Our city recently added a compostable can to our pickup. These bags fit well in our 1+ gallon compost can & let us get it nestly to the compost trash can provided by the city.

Like the size for my needs.

I use these liners inside my compost bin. They're easy to use and work well.

We've found it works best if you double-bag, and these are up to the task. Reduces spillage and insects especially when you're required to keep your trash cans indoors, sometimes for two weeks.
