These sturdy, well-made wooden lids are beautiful on my teal blue mason jars. They are quite substantial. It''s nice that there is a plastic underside to protect the wood as other wood lids could get moldy. East to clean. I love the silicone insert which can be removed and washed. I assume it makes these lids leak proof. I have only used them on mason jar ice cream so I have not tested them for leaks. My hand is really small, being a small person, so it can be a challenge for me to open when it's tight, having a small grip, but I guess it means that it has a pretty good seal. Therefore I don't think it detracts from the product. A person with a medium or large hand would not have a problem. These lids really are much nicer that the standard mason jar lids, which can rust. They would look really beautiful of your shelf on your mason jars, in addition to being very practical, functional and reusable.

These wooden Mason jar lids turn a plain jar into an attractive storage container for dry food items or beauty aids, such as cotton balls, flour, sugar, pasta, cereal, beans, etc. I don't store liquids using these lids. They are plastic lined and do not seal tightly, in my opinion. I put them on half-gallon jars for storing foods.

These lids are adorable but only half of them stay sealed. The others pop right right up from the jar. Frustrating.

It's amazing how a simple cover can turn a mason jar into Cinderella. Kidding aside, it does what it's supposed to.Caution: I had to order these covers twice, as the first order arrived with 2 of the 4 covers cracked.

What an beautiful transformation these lids made to our pantry and food prep storage. We will be buying more! Excellent quality and easy to use and clean.

These "wooden" lids are pretty and I wish they worked out, but I had to return them because they are way larger in diameter than the actual Ball jar itself. The lid extends over the side by 1/8" and looks much too large. I have wood lids like these for the regular mouth Ball jar version and they fit and look beautiful. The manufacturer needs to adjust this lid size to make this product look right on the jar. And on a side note, the lids didn't screw on easily, either.

I purchased these to fit vintage Ball half gallons to store flour and other pantry items. They are fitted with removable silicon liner. Love the look and seem to seal well for dry goods.

These lids are well made and can turn a standard mason jar into a lovely decorative piece. I bought one set and plan to get more because they definitely brighten up the pantry shelves.
