This is a highly effective beard softening shave cream. Years ago, I used a "heated" shaving cream dispenser in an attempt to get a close shave like men would get at the barber's with hot towels and a straight razor. Alas, that heated shaving cream did not live up to its claims plus it was a pain to use. Fast forward to a couple of months ago when I found a can of PRORASO shaving foam in the guest shower of my daughter's home. I used it and was impressed with the "close" shave it allowed me to get. The eucalyptus and menthol generated the softening heat for a close shave. I immediately purchase two cans from AMAZON and have been highly satisfied with it. I will continue to buy more.

Unlike others, I did not find the scent particularly strong or the cooling menthol too dominant. The pleasant scent and slight amount of coolness provided a “touch” of freshness. This combines with lather that spreads well and is not too thick and messy. Overall, it does the job and has no serious issues!

Great lathering stays on your face only takes a small amount. Ended up buying the sensitive only cuz im kinda crazy with my razors

This is the best canned shave cream I have used. It provides a super thick lather that buffers your skin during shaving. Just like other poraso products it cooks the skin a lot which I personally like. I get no cuts or irritation when I use this cream. I highly recommend this product. Far better than the other canned creams I’ve used👍👍👍
