Tamiya at its best
All in the box , great value and as good as I remember as a kid.If your in your forties and want to either show your kids entertainment pre computers , I recommend. I had to get paint for the shell (5quid) but that was it

Lack of accountability, do your homework.
It’s not painted, so not yellow. The on / off switch doesn’t mount properly which isn’t mentioned and you only find this out after starting to build it to be told it can’t be returned.It’s misleading meaning I’ve lost money, time and my respect for the vendor. I’ve spoken to both the vendor and Amazon prior to leaving this review.Ultimately there is a difference between the advertisement on Amazon and the vendors websites which is not good at all.

Great RC car
Just as I remember as a child. My son (9) is building it (with some help from me). The only negative in this bundle is they supply 4 AA batteries when the controller takes 8!

A great car and brings back memories of the 80's and 90'sA few things to be mindful of, if new to RC and building kitsBuy a bundle which will includes everything you needUpgrade the motor to Tamiya's sport tuned motor, upgrade battery and metal bearings and a metal gear steering servoMake sure you thread lock the grub screw which attaches to the pinion gear on motor, also steering servo saver and steering control armTake your time building as you'll be punished for rushing through it, use instructions and youtube together to make it easierRC cars are an expensive hobby, so expect to buy parts when needed through wear and tear and crashes etc.

Brings back memories
It’s smaller than I remember it from 30 years ago but my head has got bigger since then and hands 😂. Instructions ain’t the best but if I had to make another model, it would be a lot easier 😊. I’m glad the pictures of the screws in the book are of actual size so you can place them over the top, to make sure it’s the right screw 😊😊.
