Works like a charm
After a bearing failure in my Kubota B2400 tractor's alternator, I needed to get a fix fast! I searched the local parts stores and suppliers looking for replacement bearings to get the tractor up and running again. I had no luck finding the bearings locally and wound up ordering them through Grainger with a work discount. I ordered this alternator with 2-day Prime shipping. Easy install (take the fan shroud bolts out for easy maneuvering around fan) and a new Dayco belt from Advance Auto Parts, and I was back in business. This unit was less than half what the OEM Kubota was and it's doing great so far. I received the new bearings for the OEM alternator and rebuilt it so I now have a spare on the shelf. I recommend this product for the budget minded and for anyone looking for a JIC spare.

Fits Onan MDKD 8kW marine generator with Kubota D950 engine
Purchased this while cruising down the Chesapeake Bay on Memorial Day weekend. The 33 year old alternator bearing had seized on the second day of our boating trip. I had this shipped ahead to the marina we were to stay at for the holiday weekend. Arrived the next day and was installed that afternoon. The fit and finish are exact, other than the connector needing to be crimped on. Saved our vacation with 8 people on board. Not a bad idea to have a spare at this reasonable price.

Easy installation and way cheaper than what the nearest dealer ...
I had the one on my B7500 go out on me and bought this one to replace it. So far its worked just as it was expected to. Easy installation and way cheaper than what the nearest dealer wanted for a new one. If it lasts a few years it was well worth it, but i cant tell any difference in this one and the one i removed (which lasted 10+yrs) so i am fairly confident it will go for much longer than that. Great product !As a side note I bought this after checking with a local alternator shop and found that it was just a tad bit cheaper to buy this one new than it was to rebuild the old one.

Didn't work
Arrived quickly. But by time he put it on and tried it, it didn't work and it was too late to return (his fault for taking to long).
