I am using this to check the gloss on vehicle panels such as fenders after replacement and painting. Getting a good gloss match is just as important as paint match when it comes to not noticing a repair. I found this meter easy to use and the price makes it affordable for my basic needs. First thing, it's pretty user-friendly. It took me a little to really get the hang of it, but after that it was smooth sailing. The readings seem consistent and its kinda cool. Didn't think I'd need one, but it's been handy. Good piece of equipment for the price.
