Delicious and Easy to Make
Comfort food. A blast from the past. My husband and I remember the pizza kits from our childhood. It was a tradition at our house to make pizza as a family and watch the Ed Sullivan Show. It brings back memories of family and comfort. Aside from that, they are great to have on hand for a quick meal or snack. Easy to make and very little cleanup. Yes, they taste really good. 1 box makes 2 pizzas.

Chef Boyardee Pepperoni Pizza Maker - A Fun Pizza Starter
This Chef Boyardee Pepperoni Pizza Maker is a fun starter for home-made pizzas. It contains easy-to-make crust mix and ready-made sauce with pepperoni. (Cheese and other toppings not included). The crust and sauce both have a great taste and also freeze well. My Pizza Maker arrived fresh/in date and in very good condition. A reasonable value, I would purchase it again; five stars from me.

This is NOT what I have bought previously (and pepperoni topping not included)
I've probably used the pepperoni pizza kit from CB a dozen or two times in forty years. I ordered this because I had everything needed to make a pizza from scratch, except for pepperoni. I didn't want to go to the store so I ordered this. I figured the kit would be fun for the kids, for our first at home pizza making experience. All of the times I have bought the pepperoni pizza kit, there was a pouch of pepperonis. That is how it always had been packaged, so that is what I expected to receive in the pepperoni pizza kit. However, after opening the box and having no luck in finding the pepperoni pouch, I realized that the 'pepperoni' part of the pizza was little pieces of pepperoni in the sauce. I have never in my life heard of pepperoni in sauce, let alone that being considered a 'pepperoni' pizza. The box should have clearly communicated that it was a kit for pepperoni sauce pizza, and not a pepperoni pizza. Who would expect that to mean some pieces were in the sauce?I had to go to the store after all, which was annoying. We made the kit as it said, and let the dough rise for 20 minutes as suggested. Spreading the sauce out was difficult, as the little pepperoni pieces wanted to bunch up and not spread evenly. These are some thoughts on the actual taste of the pizza:It was tough and dry.The experience of having tiny pieces of pepperoni in the sauce was unpleasant. The texture/bite was not enjoyable or tasty. The sauce on its own had decent flavor. The contents of the kit were not overall tasty, and I won't be buying it again. I really wish it had had pepperonis like it used to. Then that flavor/texture dynamic might have made up for the tough pizza.

Childhood memories
I love these. They remind me of my childhood, my mom would fix these for us. I was really disappointed when I couldn’t find them in the supermarket, I’m glad I’m able to find them on Amazon at least. A little overpriced though.

Can't find this mix in the store - Great buy
We have only been able to buy Cheese pizza mixes. Was so great to see one with the pepperoni pizza mix like the old times.

Easy to make but the flavor isn’t what I rememebr
I remember making this when I was a teen and liking it, although I don’t remember the pepperoni being cut up and in the sauce can. It was certainly quick easy to make but the flavor wasn’t good enough to warrant reliving this nostalgic trip down memory lane again.

Blast from the past
Every year, I purchase these for a family member for her birthday. You can't find the pepperoni version in grocery stores so buying it for her birthday is a treat for her. We now call it her birthday pizza. I grew up on these being a staple in our home in the 80s. It's nice to know you can bring back memories with just a meal. Just wish you could buy at grocery stores but at least we can still get them through here.
