Rear Milkbottle Bike Basket w/Nylon Grip Handle

I was worried about this basket holding my rather stuffed backpack (it does), and also about having just one basket on one side of my bike with a bag in it making me tip over when I ride (it doesn't), but this basket completely solved my occasionally-commuting-by-bike problem, and is SO much better than trying to bungee my bag to my back rack. It's also totally adorable. I love that it pops right off, so I can carry it inside with me with no hassle. One of my favorite useful things!

I have two of these baskets that I bought in 2016. It’s now 2021 and they are still like new although I don’t use them daily. They are pricey but they are absolutely perfect. The baskets are incredibly easy to put on and take off as they just hook on your bike rack. No screws or straps needed and they have never come off. I originally bought them for riding bikes to school with my kids. I can shove ( it’s a little tight) a back pack in each one. Just be sure to have the backpack straps facing away from the tire so they can’t get caught in your bike wheel. I’ve also used the baskets when going to the pool. They are great for towels, snacks and pool toys. I have a carabiner clip on my keys so I clip them to the basket as well. I have also used them many times when camping. Need to run and buy ice? Ride to the camp store, buy two bags of ice, and the baskets will keep you from freezing carrying the ice back to the campsite. Taking a ride with the kids? Throw in your phone, snacks and water bottles for the whole family. Just this weekend I again used my baskets while camping but this time for fishing. We were all heading out to fish and we mamas wanted to have a seat while we watched the kiddos. I was able to use my baskets to carry our small tackle box, 3 fishing poles, a sweatshirt, and 2 camp chairs ( one in each basket). Both my sister and my friend were saying they needed to buy these Basil baskets too! Buy them. You won’t regret it.

It's cute, well made, and practical...just slides right onto my rear rack. I've used it officially twice for my grocery run, and I piled it up...it loaded it up with a 12-pk of pop/soda and a few other heavy items, and it handled it well. When I need to replace my other rear basket, I will buy this one again!

This basket is perfect! It looks right onto my rear carrier rack without any tools, so it can quickly go on and off. Between this and my front basket, it holds everything I need for a day of work, including lunch, water bottles and laptop. Well worth the money.

The actual product is quite ORANGE to my liking. Regretfully, colour is not the same/not close to the picture shown in the ad. However, other aspects are all good. By the way, the 'Basil' brand is just an easily removed sticker, not a tag that you might expect. After all a pretty and practical bike accessory though.

These are incredible and I love them! The yellow coating seems to be really good quality, the handle hinges work smoothly and are very sturdy. It's deep enough to hold my laptop backpack without fear of it falling out. It clips on really easily to my bike rack and holds groceries for my family of 3 for almost a full week. I have a Public bike and planned on ordering one from Public when I ordered my bike, but they were $25 less on Amazon so I ordered two!!! I plan on using a small, unobtrusive lock to clip it onto the bike rack so no one takes them, but will still let them come off easily.

This basket is great - spacious and super easy to use. I have one already that I bought at a local place. I ordered this one from amazon to be able to carry more groceries at once but the basket I received was squashed. Had to return.

This basket is wonderful for grocery shopping and carrying heavy items. I only got one and was concerned that it might pull the bike to one side while riding with heavy loads. However, that is not the case... I love that it is easy to put it on the bike or take it off. When I go shopping, I take the basket into the store, load it up and off I go!!!
