I bought this to replace a dome camera that went bad and this has a great picture and the night vision is superior to what I had. This was a great upgrade.

This camera has an excellent image. The night vision distance estimate is a bit optimistic. The varifacol lens is nice and easy to adjust and is able to provide a sharp focus. I installed these to capture license plates at a gas station and they seem to do the job. The case construction and styling is better than most of the discount no-name cameras. My understanding is that unless purchased from a US Hikvision dealer getting warranty service will be a problem so I purchased the Amazon extended warranty. However, at this price if one does fail I can afford to toss it and get another. I have used Hikvision over a few years now and they perform better than average. It's not a Samsung but it's not a Samsung price either. One thing to note: this lot came with some cameras with 2.1mm power connectors and some with 2.5mm. I would suggest having both in hand and checking the cameras prior to install. Overall, I will buy again.

The quality is awesome. Just installed three and will buy at least three more. Great zoom capabilities.
