Amazing Sound
I was lucky to purchase this as an Amazon return, so it was sufficiently reduced in price.Pros:Great lookAmazing soundEasy to setupCons:You’ll need an pre-amp, even for a connection to a Hi-Fi with phono in.Selection of 45/33 is done by moving the belt, no switch. No auto stop, it’s easy to forget it’s still on.No power lightApart from those Cons above I’m very happy with this product. You get what you pay for and this is quality.

Cheap audiophile
This is maybe the best option for an introduction to analogue music. Sound quality is great. I use it with tube phono stage and I get clear instrument separation in a broad spectrum of music, from punk-rock to jazz. Have tried it with my home speakers as well as headphones.Great cartridge and tonearm.Glass platter was a revelation! It is great that everything is ready out of the box and does not require specialized setup.

Excellent turntable, love it
The motor is humming a bit, it's true. But I love this turntable anyway. The quality of sound is unbelievable and the very deck looks good. I love this minimalism.

Superb turntable
It’s just like they say... with a deck like this, you hear things in your music you haven’t heard in years.I have several Pro-Ject and Rega turntables, and I prefer nearly all my Pro-Jects to my Regas. Musical appreciation is very subjective, but I’d describe the output from this turntable as rich, balanced, detailed and warm.Yes, I know that’s not scientific - but let’s just say, this deck works for me.I also like it because there is no built-in pre-amp - allowing me to experiment with what to connect it to.Delighted with purchase.

Not impressed- issues with two players
Player1: Bought the T1 BT player. The Bluetooth just didn’t work. Tried on multiple speakers and headphones turning off every Bluetooth device in the house but no luck. Seems like a known problem. Returned.Player 2: Bought T1, which arrived with the arm built incorrectly, resulting in the leaver arm not working at the end of the record and skidding across the centre. The lid was also very stiff meaning sometimes skipped when opening. Returned. In conclusion I’ve decided I’m not going to risk buying another “award winning” Pro-ject player but opted for Rega one. No issues here.

Solid Starter Deck
Good looking unit for beginner's who want a better quality starter deck, although it plays both size 33 and 45 vinyls, its a bit fiddly to attain, as you have to take the turntable platter off and re-route the drive belt...but I think most people like myself will only want to play LP's so they won't bother with the phaffing around.Just remember that the record is still playing on the runout groove (it doesnt automatically lift the arm at the end of play...otherwise you'll do what i did..and go off and do something else in the house for an hour and come back to find the stylus still grooving!!

Really rubbish build quality. Motor hums.
OK - turned this on for a minute and noticed it has an audible motor hum. (Even before plugging anything in - just the motor going round). I looked online and this is apparently an issue since forever. How is this possible? The base is cheap MDF with formica covering. How much is a piece of wood? In summary you get: motor that hums, bit of MDF, piece of glass and elastic band you have to swop around to go from 33 to 45 rpm. Nice.
