TL; DR So far extremely satisfied and would recommend.Shipping and Delivery: Arrived sooner than anticipated (woo!) and was delivered to my door, not left at the mail hub (double woo!) The box was filthy and damaged, but everything inside was wrapped in bubble wrap and foam and cardboard- no damage. Unpacking took about five minutes. My first impression was "these parts are heavy!" and "wow this is bigger than I thought."Assembly: This was a breeze. There are literally only four screws. I put it together in a skirt sitting on the floor in about five minutes, and I have weak, wimpy kitten arms. If you can't assemble this by yourself in less than ten minutes and you're able-bodied, you might have bigger issues than what sort of desk chair you need. The only bummer on the chair is one of the arm locks doesn't work. Not a big deal for me because I don't need them locked in place, and the arms do have a safety mechanism to keep them from falling out, but still- a design flaw is a flaw.Look/Feel: This chair is bigger than I anticipated, which is fabulous. This is a full size chair like I have at my office, not the somewhat cramped version I expected. The seat has lots of coosh, and the different adjustments are great. Just a quick recap: the chair goes up and down, it rock and can lock in place in a slanted position (like your butt to dip back? no problem!), the back reclines (for those handy stare-at-the-ceiling-on-a-conference-call moments) and the seat itself slides back and forth. Oh, and the arms go up and down, and in and out. The chair fabric is a slick looking mesh over foam. I will say- the little holes on the seat mesh are perfectly sized to track crumbs, so be ready to dust-bust this bad boy.Comfort: So far, this is great. I'm planning an extensive computer session for final exams and gaming this weekend, so I'll revise the comfort if it fails expectations.Sizing: This chair is suitable for large, tall, and average height and weight folks (pick your combo.) A short person probably needs a footrest because the seat is so deep, and may not find the back comfortable if they can't sit all the way back in the chair. I don't have that problem- I typically find seats to be too short, so this is a pleasant change for me.

I bought this chair because our office chairs at work are HON brand, and I knew they were sturdy, comfortable, and supportive. This model was not the one we have at work, but i took a chance on it anyway because it was as significantly less expensive than the model we have there…. I guess to some degree, you “get what you pay for”…. it is noticeably of a “cheaper” finish and quality, but it feels just as sturdy and comfortable, so I’m still happy with it.It was easy to assemble, and I was astonished at how few screws and parts needed to be put into it during assembly. There are 4 screws, an Allen wrench, and a handful of plastic “keeper” buttons.The box arrived pretty beat up (delivered via UPS), and there was a small amount of damage to the plastic support on the bottom of the back of the chair back where it slides into the seat base. When I was unboxing then parts, that small plastic piece of plastic fell out of the box, and I couldn’t figure out where it had snapped off of until I had the chair fully assembled and looked over it carefully one last time. It isn’t in a place where it’ll really be noticeable or bothersome; however, it would be nice if it didn’t arrive with a broken piece due to poor packing and handling.I would not be as happy with this if I’d paid full price for it, just due to the cheaper quality materials and it arriving with part of the plastic broken… however, I got it for a really good price on Amazon Prime Day, so I am okay with it. This is FAR more sturdy and comfortable than other “bargain”-priced office chairs we have purchased in the past, and hopefully it’ll last a good, long while before it needs to be replaced.

I'm a dude on the bigger side and was looking for a Herman Miller alternative to sit in all day at my new work-from-home office. After a ton of research, HON looked like the best choice. It arrived quickly, the assembly instructions are very simple, and the chair is super duper comfy. The arm rests adjust outward for bigger people, as well as up and down. After adjusting the back rest, my previous chairs' back rests would shift throughout the day. Not this one. After adjusting this chair, all adjustments stay solid and tight. The cushion is very comfy and conforms to your body after a few uses (not sure if this is something the general customer will like, but I love the "personalized" feeling of a conforming cushion). Overall, I love this chair!
