Like new!
Great to see a tool that is not designed for planned obsolescence. Felcos are great pruners and the ability to replace the blade is a real asset vs the cheaper disposable pruners. It was super easy to do, although the printed instructions on the back of the package are confusing, a la Ikea instructions. But find any YouTube video that shows the process and you'll be done in a few minutes. Highest recommendation.

Good fit, new life to old pruners
Felco is about the best and I have their pruners dating back at least 20 years. Mine got caught in a flood and they were just a pile of rust when the water receded. After taking apart and cleaning them, this blade replacement made them like new again.

As expected.
I love my Felco pruner and these blades work perfectly.

Beats buying a new pair of pruners.
The replacement parts fit perfectly and made the Felco pruners like new. BUT getting my old pruners apart was quite a struggle, and I actually broke the included small metal tool-piece while using it successfully. But since I don’t need to use that piece again, all is well.

Saves money!
I have replaced the blade in my Felco trimmers about every three or four years. Once the new blade is in, the trimmer is as good as brand new. That saves a lot of money since there is no need to invest in a new trimmer, and the blades are long lasting. It is a good system.

It's Felco. Rebuild your shears!
It's Felco. IMHO, there is nothing better for pruning! For years I'd usually simply file the blade(s) when they became dull. This was tedious and time consuming. Enter the Shear kit. It's like having new shears! The instructions are a bit lacking on how to take the blade off. Pay attention to where everything goes. Small parts can be lost or misapplied.Tip: I always cleaned and oiled our Felco pruners after use. When you dissemble the blade, take the time to de-grease and clean the exposed parts before re-assembly. I used shop towels and WD40.Also, make sure that the pruners open fully, and easily before tightening the screw on the gear. You want the nut holding the blade snug but not over tight. After assembly, give them a light shot of oil and work it into all the moving parts except for the spring that spreads the handles. Wipe off the excess. It's easy to do. It takes time and patience. You'll save big bucks over a new pair plus you'll have the satisfaction of having repaired something yourself!Or, forget the mess and spend $55 or more dollars on new Felco's!

Best pruners shears
Felco is the best pruning shears i had ever experienced. Yes pricey. But you can buy a replacement blade for pennies. Can't beat that!
