I just opened and added some lavender oil to a few beads, stepped away for an hour or so, just checked and it still holds the scent. Impressed, the color is a rustic black but not rough. Im making a bracelet soon as I get the clasp. I think it will be beautiful and Id like some in a smaller size soon for some little girls who love the lemongrass scent on my oil charm but the oil is too much for them.

Why on earth would I pay for expensive lava jewelry online when I can make my own for a fraction of the price? I like to put drops of essential oils on these to give myself a subtle fragrance throughout the day. Manly enough for my husband to wear, too! He loves the bracelet I made him. Purchasing more for the upcoming Holiday season, as these would make great DIY gifts.

Initially I gave them 5 stars but the seller sent 6 mm instead of 8 mm beads. Unfortunately I checked a month after receiving the beads. Otherwise, I would have contacted the seller right away. Because I do not know if the seller would have responded well, I am taking only one star.About the beads, they look natural and earthy. I like the fact that they are made of volcanic rock so if one wants to submerge them in oils, they will pick up the smell. So one would have a perfumed necklace.Thus, I recommend the lava beads because of their quality and beauty. But I would also recommend to check the size as soon as you get the beads.

These lava rocks contributed to created a beautiful piece I was creating and I couldn't be happier with them. OK, maybe one small area of improvement. That's to make the hole just a touch wider as they were difficult to put on my beading needle and thread, but otherwise they are perfect!Thank you!

I bought these beads to use as paint mixers in my Vallejo paint bottles and they have work beautifully. Rattling them around helps to stir up the pigment in the paint and give a nice ever mixture. I tested these beads in salt water for 3 days before giving them the go ahead for my paint bottles, and I haven't had any issues since. I'd definitely recommend them if that's the route you're looking to go

I love them! I make jewelry (hobbyist, not professional) but have always been reluctant to buy beads online as I cannot see or touch them. I am beyond thrilled with the lava beads. They even have microscopic sparkles to them! They have great texture for meditating and are perfect for essential oils. I will buy again!
